If you need your kicker for 9 points during the game than your offense just sucks.

I don't know how else to say it.

Truth bomb

We were winning games with FGs during the harbagugh alex smith days. We might be settling for FGs now, but our offense will find a way. Teams keep selling out to stop the run on 1st down when we get to the redzone, i trust our staff to notice this and make the adjustments.

I agree we need to hard sell run and pass when we get to the red zone. We've been too predictable, almost as if we're trying to test every single week if we've gotten better at running down there.

No Acho is 100% right. You don't punch your own teammates and Deebo is far from perfect. He spends half the season being sick or injured. Plus he drops the ball a lot and doesn't run good routes. He's physical and fast. That's the strong sides.

Dude all he said was lock it in and Peppers got all bent out of shape, so he pushed him.

sticking up for a long snapper and a kicker who consistently shanks kicks over a guy that has been a all-pro and f**king important offensive piece is right on par for you. Make your god damn FGs. They bust their asses trying to get the ball downfield. Do your job. No different than crying about our RT or center not playing well.

And? Let someone else burn a pick on him. He himself was shocked he got drafted that high.

cold have grabbed a damn soccer player like Dallas did. Kickers across the league and for years have been UDFAs or late day 3 picks. What rd did Adam Vinatieri get taken in? Gould? Tucker? Butker?

kickers across the league are banging 50+ all day. Meanwhile we're all clenching our butt cheeks every time he steps on the field.

im glad he redeemed himself and got the last one obviously, so far he's shown it was a massive reach and a bad pick.

Let's roll purdy out on a play action, or jet sweep, maybe just maybe we are saving those for the playoffs…

lol wut? DC, Texans, Pitt, bills, KC and LAC's kickers have made more FGs than anyone.

points are points. STs costed the team 16 pts on Sunday.

lol you are both not wrong. Need a good kicker, but of course we would rather he only be kicking PAT's

But if Purdy was throwing 5 50+ yard TDs a game then we would never have to rely on a kicker. TRUTH BOMB!

Anyone would prefer that…it's also not the reality of football. Like I said all those teams have kickers that have made a s**t ton of FGs.

Correct, but that is football. Kickers are good, bad, and everything in between.

The reality is that we have too many good players and a supposed "genius" play caller, yet are damn near last in Redzone.

Why are we advocating for a guy that no one would trust under pressure.

Lack of play action bootlegs is infuriating and inexplicable; especially in the redzone.

Instead we waste a run up the gut for no yardage on first down; then sit Purdy back in stagnant five step drops hoping to find an open wr as the pass rush bears down on him and everyone is clamped in man coverage in the endzone.

yeah he's probably got to go. my only point is if he was a legit stud kicker, he would be well worth a third. i'm not against kicker in the mid rounds, just get a good one. any player who doesn't pan out is a bad pick in round 3. look at latu, moody on the team longer than he was.
