I never understood it with a championship caliber team. Why on earth would you count on a young rookie/unproven kicker with all of the very capable proven veteran kickers sitting out there that would play for the minimum

Young guy is okay as long as he is steady. Moody have been moody since day 1
Again, another wasted draft pick . . . anyone seeing a theme here . . . Lance, Ricky P., Moody . . . can the dynamic duo of Lynch and Shanahan actually evaluate draft candidates? They need someone who can see what the team needs and go and evaluate the talent out there and draft for it.

Lol

From Money Moody to Moody Blues. Totally over this guy causing us to clinch up and hold our breaths every time this guy kicks. One of the most punchable faces in the NFL.

Why pay Robbie when you could extend Juice with that extra money

What team is he playing for right now?

Gould would not have retired if we offered to extend him. We didn't. Gould is better than Moody.

Hes coaching high school football in the chicagoland area

You couldn't bring him on anyway. His legs declined to where he couldn't kick it out of the time endzone on kickoffs anymore.

Even if he was money from everything under 50.

Imagine how many tds the special teams would give up with every single kick being returnable...

Didn't we have our punter kicking kickoffs during Robbie's last year?
Moody has enough leg but his accuaracy has suffered. He's not alone if you watch enough games. Accuracy has dropped this season around the league. Kickers are kicking longer FGs but losing accuracy. I've seen several missed extra points. My guess is they'll stay with him at least one more season to see if he can correct his flaws.

Moody is like that new driver you bought and when hit just right gives you another 30yards off the tee. Makes all par 5s reachable in 2. The only problem is you keep hitting it OB.

The Cowboys kicker made 4 bombs last night. I think 3 were 55+ and right down the middle.

Cowboys also didn't waste a high draft pick on their kicker...found him in the USFL
I have always stuck up for this kid and do not care where he was drafted, but he is simply inconsistent.

He's basically the only consistently great kicker this year.
