It's just all in his head. You can't tell me he can do it in College and suddenly he can't do it here. He started having some misses and the pressure really mounts. The coaching staff, players and fans are really on you. I think he can do it. But his confidence seems shattered here. It happens to young kickers sometimes. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go somewhere else and be successful. I don't at all think it's that he physically can't do it. It's all mental and emotional now. Maybe a fresh start would help with that.

He probably CAN be a good kicker. Just not with us. Time to look for a new kicker! Yay

I'm okay to let him have another off season. Bring in someone legit and let them fight it out. If he can win the battle he can stay on the roster.

I think competition in training camp is fine and they may not outright cut him yet. But if he struggles next year he will be gone. They could have somebody on the practice squad or somebody else's practice squad or other football league.

How many more games need to be lost before people figure out that this guy just doesn't have what it takes to be trusted? It's clear that he's not as good as he was advertised, we need to cut our losses and find the right guy.

They might cut him and bring in others. But what if he works with his mechanics in the offseason and has a really good mini camp and training camp and preseason? He may get this out of his head if he has an offseason. I think things are just too hot right now for him.

The worst thing a footbal team can have is….a kicker that's "in his head" 💯
You got one job, kick the fking ball thru the poles and kick the ball thru the endzone.
Jeezus cripes, did you see that onsides kick debacle?
Not joking….you could pick 10 random people in the forum of any age and they could have made a better attempt at that.
It's just utterly embarrassing how bad he is and how bad the ST's coaching is and worst of all…..just how bad the people that made the decision to spend a 3rd round pick on him are.
Championship teams do not make those mistakes.

It ain't nothing wrong with his mechanics or physically it's all in his damn head mentally

Having solid, disciplined mechanics goes a long way in ensuring you're mentally strong imo.

Yeah I think it's more that too. But sometimes it clears up. You see a kicker struggle for a while and improve. Somewhere else or the same team. It happens in NFL history. Physically he can do it. No way he can hit from almost 60 in a playoff game in College and he can't do it. He can physically. Even under pressure mentally. But something is really in his head now in the NFL and he's struggling badly.

Hate him or love him, dude knows football.
Never ever EVER take a damn kicker in the 3rd round! Especially when you have other pressing needs.
PFF doesn't even allow you to draft kickers/punters lulz with their mock simulator.
