Call me crazy but Harbaugh loved him at Michigan right? What if he is purposely sucking so he gets cut and the Chargers have already committed to signing him. Harbaugh is just weird enough to do this
I have zero knowledge of this and haven't even researched the Chargers special teams situation...
BUT I was at that game last night - you are telling me Moody can't ever reach the endzone on a kickoff? That he could possibly miss that many xtra points? Feels off

IMO, they won't get rid of him right away w/out having a better alternative.
Bring in Lots of competition and don't draft another one high.

Their current Kicker Cameron Dicker is 93.9% for last year and 94.6% for this year. Hes 35/37 this year with only 2 misses, 1 being from the 40-49yd range and the other being 50+ range. He was 10/11 and 9/10 in those ranges this year. I know this because he was my fantasy kicker this year lol. If we somehow got him I would be estatic! They would be crazy to let him go.
Anywho I just responded because it involved my fantasy kicker and with such a crazy theory I just wanted to give my 2 cents.

It's possible that's true. I would not be surprised if he can do it somewhere else. I think he has the physical ability. It's all in his head now. He may never recover here. But it wouldn't surprise me for him to see success elsewhere. Just not with us which is sad. But may be true.

He broke his ankle trying to tackle a punt returner, his athletic talent is non-existent.
