i do anticipate us giving Pickett hell though. I think our defense does best against QBs like him.
just depends on who our qb is. I think if darnold or Lance starts, we will most likely get off to a slower start as they get more experience under them. If Purdy starts and doesn't have a good game - that'll be disappointing.

Pittsburgh did win 7 of its last 9 games last year. Although against hardly any good teams. That said, there's no telling how much Pickett improves in his second season.
On paper, Pittsburgh doesn't seem like a powerful team but games obviously aren't won on paper.

i didn't really care for Pickett - I only felt like he was way over drafted and most of his play last season was crap-average. He had some nice plays here and there, but he was no Purdy!

There's no doubt I'm expecting a close up and down game on offense in Pittsburgh and wouldn't be surprised if we lost. It seems to be the norm with this team in September on offense, Pittsburgh does have weapons on offense that makes you open your eyes but at the end of the day our d should keep us in the game against Pickett and their oline which has gotten better tho on paper. If McKivitz ends up sucking ass Watt can single handedly wreck the game

Colton versus Watt is gonna be a huge match-up to watch for sure. If Brock isn't ready yet and McKivitz struggles, hopefully Trey has won the #2 job because some extra mobility and strength to shake off pass rushers is gonna be needed then.
I think either way, like you said we tend to start a little slow. I think we're gonna need Moody to be good early so we don't give any momentum the other way.

My younger brother is a huge Steelers fan and I gave him s**t non stop about how much better Purdy is than Pickett
