also, I've always believed you learn more from your failures than your successes. So he has something to really focus on and work on before the season starts to help him going forward.

i think he will have a good rookie season, I just don't expect him to be as automatic as gould was, yet.

Lol he's a kicker. He has one job, what is there to focus on and work on besides freaking kicking. He missed, it happens, we just have to hope he makes more than he misses. Drafting him that high makes it an expectation

That's true, but the pressure is on him. You hit those first couple kicks, you feel good about yourself. You whiff, and it starts to be a thing. Now reporters are asking him about the misses, how will he bounce back, and so forth. Let's get him some chip shots next game. Get that confidence back.
