I am considering he was in a frikkin dome.

Maybe that was the problem - too much time at practice outside in Santa Clara

Lol I forgot about that
It was all that Dan Marino's fault, everyone knows that. If he had held the ball, laces out, like he was supposed to, Ray would never have missed that kick. Dan Marino should die of gonorrhea and rot in hell.
Is it just downright silly to come in hear for the first time and say he should not have been picked so high in the draft and he is a total bust?
Probably one reason why teams don't draft kickers relatively High is because of the additional psychological pressure that it puts on the kicker. That might be one reason. It's already a pretty stressful job. Coming in as a young player with the burden of expectations likely doesn't help too much

I think its just value. Most kickers are undrafted etc. I will not worry about Moody until we have to be.
Ooh...blast from the past. At least it has been done right in the third round

Now we just need him to do well in preseason games.

This time he used his 3rd leg….. On 5 of the 6 kicks
I give 0 f**ks what he does in practice. He could go 100/100 and hit 70 yards. So far, in as pressure free of a game as he'll see in the NFL, he s**t the bed. Kicks weren't close. We'll see but yikes

I watched him hit a 60 yarder in the CFP as time was expiring at the half - so he can handle the pressure. Who knows why he missed those kicks but it's not biggie. This is what the pre season is for - get some live reps and get a feel for it all.

what I did notice was that before each kick, mcdaniels iced him. So I'll pay attention to that going forward to see if it bothers him. Seems it did this game.

Am I the only one that thinks it's douche to ice a kicker in a meaningless pre-season game? I swear Mcdaniels was coaching this game like it was the SB.

Lol douche tried saying he wasn't icing him but the substitutions were wrong or some s**t
Misses in preseason will be forgotten about if he hits at a high percentage in the regular season. Hopefully that was an anomaly.
