The eagles signed Bryce huff and if they cut him this year that is a $30 mil cap hit. They won the Super Bowl. Even the best teams swing and miss.

But we shouldn't have been in that situation.
After 5 first round D-linemen drafted in 6 years!
1st Round:
2015 Arik Armstead
2016 Deforest Buckner
2017 Solomon Thomas
2019 Nick Bosa
2020 Javon Kinlaw
2nd round (First draft pick of the 49ers after trading multiple 1st rounders for T. Lance)
Drake Jackson
Truth is, with this much draft capital invested since 2015, our D-line should look like the Eagles D-line!

Your comment was a critique on free agent signings. This was only free agency. Did the eagles need huff? My original comment still stands.

I heard that the Eagles prefer to sign players with most of the money up front. That way they don't have all that dead cap money when they want to release a player. It seems to make more sense than retructuring constantly and then eventually having that deferred money hanging over your head like a guillotine.
You restructure players worth keeping. Only injuries can make restructuring look bad
That's not true at all. See Deebo. They wouldn't have this dead cap hit if they didn't restructure
