Last year he had 3 multi sack games. 3 against the texans and their amazing offense. 2 against his old team, the steelers who were struggling offensively with a rookie qb, and after losing a lot of their offensive line. 2 more sacks against the bears, and fields..... 1 sack in 3 playoff games.... wtf are we paying 21 million a year for? This dude had an awesome year against one of the easiest schedules Everlast year, and has been average or below the rest of his career. I know he played in the Steelers 3-4, but I would have rather kept mccglichey than sign this guy. The closer I look, the more I dislike it. Please, someone convince me otherwise. We have Bosa to extend, and now it looks like we will probably have to let aijuk walk or get traded.

Only Chris Jones and Maliek Collins had a Higher Pass Rush win rate than Hargrave at defensive tackle last season. I don't think you realize how amazing this addition will be next season.

'You know it comes that way, at least that's what they say when you play the game'

they will move off one WR and this was before Hargrave imo

Restructuring contracts gains us a ton of CAP. Going to be many next 2 days.
Well.....wow

I knew a splash signing was coming and we were holding off announcing restructures to keep our cards close.

Wasn't expecting this. Pretty awesome.

Yeah I would not be surprised since they are meeting with quite a few WR draft prospects. Just like with DeForest Buckner they might need to make a cap savings trade.
IMO getting someone who could generate Interior pressure was our most significant need. We got by far the best available guy on the market. Very happy with this. I love it even more knowing it is a deal we are not tied to for a long time. Bosa And Hargrave together are a QBs nightmare.
