They can snag a big fatty on day 3 of the draft for those obvious running downs…Hargrave, Armstead and Bosa are bringing the 🔥 🔥

I can't believe SF got the top FA lol.

This makes sense

Don't pay Buck, don't pay Jones, wasted a pick on Kinlaw with Wirfs on the board. Don't make senses tbh

Was thinking the same thing, especially with Jones and his salary half of what we're paying Hargrave.

You do understand that Hargrave is a much better player than Jones, right? He had more sacks last year than Jones has had his entire career.

I like it, but now you're paying armstead bosa and Hargrave? Thays a lot of money on the dline when the. Oline needs so much help.

But we got mckivitz, Brunskil and no center, so that's decent.

Hahahahaha only you would have a fit over this

I said I like it, but it really depends on how they address the oline in free agency and the draft. I've been complaining about the oline since shanny got here.
I'm sure it was already discussed but I did finally realize this doesn't necessarily mean they're getting rid of Kinlaw. JK could still be a very productive player if he became more of a rotational guy. Correction: sorry I guess I missed where somebody's tweeted the Niners have indicated they're open to trade Kinlaw. I'm guessing probably a sack of potatoes is what we should expect.

And the OL was top 10 this past yr….you would complain about it regardless.

IMO this allows SF to move up in the draft and get a good young center. Everyone hated mcGlinchey and he just got PAID.
WOW!!!
BOSA AND HARGROVE TWO TIME THAT BABAYYY

My goodness, this D-Line is gonna be murderous.

I wish I could be more excited. 30 years old. 50% of his sacks came in the last two seasons of his 7 year career when he was on a star studded defensive line. Last year he had 3 multi sack games. 3 against the texans and their amazing offense. 2 against his old team, the steelers who were struggling offensively with a rookie qb, and after losing a lot of their offensive line. 2 more sacks against the bears, and fields..... 1 sack in 3 playoff games.... wtf are we paying 21 million a year for? This dude had an awesome year against one of the easiest schedules Everlast year, and has been average or below the rest of his career. I know he played in the Steelers 3-4, but I would have rather kept mccglichey than sign this guy. The closer I look, the more I dislike it. Please, someone convince me otherwise. We have Bosa to extend, and now it looks like we will probably have to let aijuk walk or get traded.

Because he's consistently been one of the top five DT's in football at generating pressure over the past few years.

And I bet that once the contract structure comes out, its going to be less than $21 mil a year.

I hope he is able to sustain his success and stay healthy here. I want to be proven wrong so badly, but it is hard for me to get excited for this signing. Hopefully this is more of a Reggie White situation than an Albert Haynesworth one. Everyone else seems really happy so I'll just keep to myself

Okay Cohn

That hurts. No one deserves that kind of abuse. Lol

Yikes $21 mil a year for a down lineman in his 30's. I thought he would get $12 mil per max. Still paying the Dee Ford contract as well.

Try being realistic next time. $12 mil for an elite pass rushing DT is ridiculous.

cut him a break, he probably also thought the Seahawks had chances of beating us last year.

ngl, if he chose the browns and paired with garrett that would've been a pretty scary combo too.

Compete for Superbowl's or play for Cleveland... Such a hard choice....

I wonder what the difference in money was.

I was searching for a scouting report on his run defense and found this breakdown article. Lots of stuff mentioned. He did not grade out well versus the run.

I didn't want to see negativity yet but explains why the eagles were able to be run on last year.
