Ya...it shouldn't be that bad though.
When will we know the dead cap ? Seems like it's a 2 year deal and could be cut or traded after with not much hurt on our end
Seems like it removes aour risk in years 3-4 with guaranteed money. DBuck was interviewed by Silver that it's the same deal he got 3 years ago, but I think his agent wanted a longer guarantee and wanted to play hardball. Lynch traded him without a counter. Still love DBuck and think he could have made a difference these past few years if we could afford him. I'll take Hargrave any day, it's s solid signing.

I'm all about homegrown players, and I also think of younger guys who we can retain longer. In this case I'm just glad we were able to right the ship with a beast.

Still hyped about this guy. Will be a huge player for us.
bosa - Gravedigger - Armstead - Jackson?
Greenlaw - Warner - ?
eman - Huff - Gipson - Ward
not bad! We just need a little more depth at linebacker and CB, then we are good! Next stop, Oline!

I hope we can get another guy because I'm afraid eMan no longer the same Man we once knew....
and.. I still say that we sign Clowney on a 2 year contract.. the guy must be sick of eating his HUMBLE PIE that he's gonna want to prove the world that he isn't a BUST..

People on nfl network radio tonight reiterating that although today was the legal tampering period to negotiate, deals don't really get inked until the official start on of the season on Wednesday. They pointed out that several players last year announced deals, then later signed for similar to larger deals with their current team. So can the Eagles afford to re sign Hargrave for a similar deal? You would think this destroys an agents rep, but those dudes are snakes anyway.

That would be a great pick up and give him a great chance of getting another big contract. He would thrive in this defense.

49ers are a tightly run ship. He's signed. Don't stress.

When I saw the breaking news on NFL-N, I had to do a double take. Man, this is awesome. Yes, it's a lot of money, but he's a huge get for our DL. With his addition, the middle of the DL will be able to generate quite a push right up the gut, plus improve the run defense. However they maneuver Bosa and Jackson, this is a dynamic and extremely talented front. Let's say Bosa at LDE, Armstead, Hargrave and Jackson. Phew, that's a phenomenal front. Not as dramatic, but still important, the re-signing of Gipson and Givens. With Jimmy Ward going to the Texans, the Niners are sure to draft a S, as well. Hope they can re-sign Moseley...hear they've shown interest in Tre Herndon.

Doesn't Jimmy G have the same agent rep as Hargrave?

Hargrave tweeted his approval at the story of him being a 49er. We good.
