Just hope it has voidable years with him being 30. Dont know what you may get from him at 34/35. But great for the next 2 years for sure
Hargrave gives them what they lost when DJ Jones left. A push up the middle. That benefits all the other D linemen but especially the edge rushers.

Those contracts will off set the comps. So no 3rd for big Mike. Will get one for Jimmy though.

Hargrave was cut. Won't affect the formula.

cut? his contract expired.

Dont know how we afford 20 mil a year for him but ok lol. So we have AA at 20+, Bosa likely 30+, and Hargrave at 20, seems like a massive amount of money on the line.

as it should be imo

Misread article. Was talking about him being potentially cut last year.

Can we still pay bosa?

of course. they have plenty of time to get a deal done for Bosa

I doubt they would make any move that they thought might keep them from signing Bosa.
Buckner years ago for 20+ or Hargrave for 20+ now lol
Hell Yeah!!!!!!!!! LFG!!!!!!!!!!!! I would assume that should take care our DL other than the draft and a couple of depth signing. Hell yeah!!!!!!

Maybe failed 1st rd pick for failed 1st rd pick lol? He will be part of the rotation though

That makes sense if we will eat the cap hit anyway. I doubt we will get much even if we did trade him.

I do like how our FO does not stand pat. But it's hard not to view this move as an admission that Kinlaw is a bust. Better to move on and improve than double down.

We had the 3rd biggest total cap entering the year. Not the most available after taking into account everyone under contract.
I can't overstate the impact of this signing. Hargrave is an absolute force from inside and wreck games when left 1-on-1. This is also a huge addition for AA. Teams will have to be very careful about who they slide the center towards, which will free up AA for more 1-on-1s opportunities. Last season, he had no help and it was easy for teams to double him. It's going to be different in 2023.

Thats why i dont get this. Couldnt afford this then but now you can. Strange.
Hargrave moved from western Pennsylvania over to the East Coast during 2020 free agency and has been a force in Philadelphia, blossoming into one of the elite interior pass-rushers in the NFL over the past few seasons. Since 2020, Hargrave's 92.2 pass-rush grade trails only Aaron Donald and Chris Jones at the position, with his 18.8% pass-rush win rate also ranking third.
