Nope he played in the wide 9 with Philly. The difference is they rotated him in and out. And he played more on obvious passing downs. We made him a 4 down guy and he's never been great versus the run.

What's a 4 down guy? He played more snaps his previous 2 seasons in PHI then he did here

Correct. We paid him lots of money and didn't use him properly.

not sure they ran a w9, they ran a lot of 5 man DL fronts... and it's why we should have done the same or put/set him up to be in more of 1v1 situations
We don't have the money to splash in FA so by cutting him it makes the DT at #11 feel a lot more likely.

This is where we need AB1 to help us understand what we do have to spend. I think we can get some help in the trenches both sides in FA depending on what we have to spend.

i don't think the new cap number is out (which should increase) and we have a reported 63m rolling over to the new cap

we could go all in this year if we wanted to

He plays all 4 downs regardless of the situation like Bosa

Gotta go BPA and not draft for position. That's how we ended up with Kinlaw. Might have to draft for need on day 2 and 3
Kenneth Grant*, DT, Michigan

Height: 6-3. Weight: 318.
Projected 40 Time: 5.15.
Projected Round (2025): 1.

Grant has 32 tackles, three sacks, and five passes batted. The 6-foot-3, 339-pounder has a rare combination of speed, athleticism, and strength. Grant has top-notch ability with a surprising ability to bend his big body. He can play strong when he wants or needs to, and Grant is fast with the ability to run plays down. Grant has a ton of upside, and he is not as dominant as he can be. He could be a better pro than college player, and Grant looks like a top half of the first-round talent for the 2025 NFL Draft.

i say pass.. taking him would be like the time we took Mario williams' teammate
Frankly we need to shore up the offensive line more than the defensive line via the draft.

Not at 11 overall.
Should have kept Buckner. Big time mistake.
