I need some feed back. Who ever wants to participate, I want to have a contest where we take two dates, one right after OTA's and the other right after Training Camp. You then submit your best guess projection on the final 53 on each of those 2 dates. Who ever gets the closest on their projection after OTA's will be crowned the champion. Should there be a tie, we will use the best projection after Training Camp as the tie breaker. I am requesting from the Mods, that the Champion gets a special crown of some sort attached to their Moniker for 2023. Anyone game?

Ok, my question is, what about the practice squad, should we predict that too? Would be a cool tiebreaker, see who got the most on the initial PS, also what about players who were cut to keep guys on short term IR, and then re-signed the next day?

While I like the practice squad idea for tie breaker, I am trying to make it friendlier for others who aren't as educated about the depth as you and some others are although I am open to more opinions.

I think not on the short term IR only because, the ones who make the roster on the final day are the more valued. Again, I am open to more opinions.

Here here! We come into the season with big ?'s at QB, but not of the teams' success. I think any of the three guys can be successful, with Purdy demonstrating it and therefore leader in the clubhouse. I don't believe Darnold can win the spot by week 1, but I guess he could outplay lance and Purdy has a setback.

Yep Buff, agreed, I doubt Sam outplays Trey or Brock.

I'm hoping big jump for Burford & Jackson, Womack & Gray on special teams more so, since Oliver should be our slot CB, but hoping we see Womack used when we do need 4 CBs out there, also would love to see Gray get more playing time.

Let's pick a day and time after OTA's that we have to have a final contest roster before training camp. Suggestions?

We can have one after OTA's (draft version) as a discussion point and then another final version before the team's final roster announcement.

Maybe a version after each pre season game?
