With the 3rd QB rule, I pretty much am 100% sure we keep 3 QBs, even if Brock starts on PUP, we keep Brandon Allen.

AB, I am not sure how far you go back, myself, looking at the non QB, just the team talent and depth, I haven't seen it like this since the 90s
this thing is built

I go back to 94, that's when I really became a true football fan, like understanding the game, I was only 10, but yes I haven't seen a such complete, deep team 49ers wise in a long time, this regime has built it up, and they know how to keep it going.

I would say the late 80s, the 94 squad, and ppl sleep on the 97 squad, the 97 squad has Rod Woodson (HOF), Kevin Greene (HOF), DPOY next to BY, Owens was WR3, it was a team, injury got us that year, per usual
I don't see Jaylon Moore making the team and Matt Pryor not making it. I also see Kerry Hyder making the team simply because it doesn't have too many edge rushers. I'm also willing to bet it'd take a tremendous camp from both Winters and Graham for team to let go of DFW who they just re-signed and is a ST mainstay and who knows the system well and is the backup MLB. I don't see both Woerner and Dwelley getting axed at the TE spot. Finally, I think they will keep Ambry and see if he can improve.

Otherwise, that list by AB81 is on point

Yep, injury bug goes all the way back to the 90s. I remember every year the 49ers/Cowboys game was on here in NY, back before the people cared about their precious Giants being on every week, I just fell in love with Young to Rice, never saw Montana play that I can remember, I would watch whatever was on at my Grandpas house on the weekends, the good ole days, not worrying about anything except school, spending time with your family, miss him & my Dad, anyway, yeah seems like late 80s-90s squads were as stacked as this team has been past 3-4 yrs.

I have Pryor on the PS with Allen on the 53, I agree with Pryor not making it, but not sure about Moore yet. I need to see these rooks play, I like Winters & Graham, better than DFF, plus 4yr deals rookie deals, DFF 1yr deal, they overpaid him this offseason, same with Dwelley. As for Hyder I'm cool with Hyder on the 53, just not sure who I'd take off, tough one. Glad I'm not in control/charge of doing the 53 lol
What I want, is for Zakelj to be the new Brunskill, play all 5 spots, then keep Poe as backup Interior OL to develop, but for now Moore gets the nod, rooting for Poe though. Or Fisher.
the_dynasty this is what I want to see happen TBH.

I'd also have Ty Davis-Price on the bubble, and consider keeping Colletto if teams are showing interest.

Trade DFF & Kinlaw for whatever we can get. Ambry too. Maybe Dwelley, keep Woerner on the PS instead.

I meant that I think Pryor makes it over Moore. He can play both guard and T
Especially with relatively unknown in Colton taking over for RT, I think they want a vet there

DFF has 1.25m dead cap hit and is a ST staple, so I like I've said I think it will take an amazing camp by both Winters/Graham to outright cut him. Long-term I like both of them over him, although I would say Graham isn't a Mike backer

Ok, I gotcha on Pryor, I need to see him play first before I put him on my 53.

The team has been willing to take dead money hits, they save little, but if Winters and/or Graham, or McCrary-Ball outplay DFF, then he gets cut, you eat the $1.25M, hope someone signs him, then get back some of that, as he has I think off the top of my head $750K GTD in his base salary.
I wonder why so many believe it's a lock Ray-Ray makes the roster and we carry 6 WR's? If Gray or Bell look good, then there is a good chance that the only thing keeping Ray-Ray safe is his return ability, but then we could just as easily keep 6 CB's and D'Shawn Jamison wins the returner job. Either way, I don't think it's a guarantee that both Ray-Ray and Gray make it, especially if Bell outplays both. This might open a spot for a guy like Colletto or allows the team to stack the DL.

I have Ray-Ray as a lock because of his return ability, he's a good WR, and he has his entire deal GTD except $135K, as for Gray, he proved it on STs as a Gunner, I don't see Gray clearing waivers, nor do I see Bell clearing waivers.
