Either way, I don't think it's a guarantee that both Ray-Ray and Gray make it, especially if Bell outplays both. This might open a spot for a guy like Colletto or allows the team to stack the DL.

I have Ray-Ray as a lock because of his return ability, he's a good WR, and he has his entire deal GTD except $135K, as for Gray, he proved it on STs as a Gunner, I don't see Gray clearing waivers, nor do I see Bell clearing waivers.

Isn't his dead cap pretty manageable though? I don't think it's a lock he makes it if Bell and Gray outplay him. With this loaded roster, good players will be cut/traded, so Ray-Ray will have to offer more than just return ability, especially now with the new rule changes for kickoffs. Both Bell and Gray can contribute on special teams, so Ray-Ray isn't safe imo.
Let's submit each contestant's version of the 53 after Mini Camp and before Training Camp. We'll use the last day prior to when Training Camp starts. A lot will happen over that period of time.

We will then submit a second version after training Camp as a separate contest and possible tie breaker for the 1st version.

Very very close to mine.

Only differences would be TDP as a 4th RB no Watson, Moore over Pryor, Bryant over Hyder, & Jalen Graham over McCrary-Ball

Nice! I have zero issue with any of the differences too!

I have no real complaints with yours either, I love Hyder, I'm just thinking Bryant has $550K of $940K GTD, none for Hyder. I prefer to keep 9 OL, but we'll have vets on the PS if we keep 8. I'm not sold on either Moore or Pryor, yet, I need to see more this preseason. TDP needs to really bust his ass off to make the team. Graham vs McCrary-Ball could go either way, I could see DFF making it, he has $1.25M of $1.825M GTD, I'd personally would like to see them try to trade DFF, Dwelley, Ambry, & Kinlaw, save the GTD money in DFF, Dwelley, & Kinlaw's deals.

Here's my prediction before the season starts.

I'm not keeping Ray Ray because two different return guys made my 53, and because I think Ronnie Bell is so polished that we don't need more pure receiving, and Pearson can return and be utilized like Deebo somewhat.

I think we will sign or trade for another DE at some point, which is why I put an asterisk next to Ferrell and Bryant . I'm really not sold on either one of them and expect one will be cut if we add another pass rusher.

I also choose Ilm Manning as the 8th offensive lineman because he's the only young OL who could play multiple positions IIRC. Unless Poe can be relied upon as a backup center, which then changes my picks to Poe and Fisher.

I'm sure I'll get some flack for some of my predictions. But its early.

One guy I am actually really hyped on here is Ferrell

Love all your underdog picks: Khalan Laborn, Jahcour Pearson, Ilm Manning, Spencer Waege, Jalen Graham, D'Shawn Jamison & Qwuantrezz Knight.

I can see Laborn over TDP

Pearson isn't even signed with us, he hasn't signed anywhere that I know of, & McCloud is making it IMO, Same with Gray, I have 6 WRs

Of the OL, Zakelj is most likely to make it, he has versatility, C/G/T, I can't see a UDFA making it, if any then Fisher who is a RT, but projects inside.

Again can't see a UDFA beating out a draft pick, not when they took Beal in the 5th.

I have no issues with Graham, I like Winters too.

I think Jamison is a long shot to make it, he won't be active if he does.

Knight is a CB to me, and Hartsfield was brought in by Wilks, he knows Wilks, and what he wants Wilks to do, I have Hartsfield making it.

The rest I agree with, I can see Pryor over Moore.
I agree with the above. The guys who have been here but at most risk of missing the cut this season:

- Ross Dwelley
- Charlie Woerner
- Ambry Thomas
- Tyrion Davis-Price
I think Pearson is going to have a Hawk tryout.

Same. I had Bryant ahead of Hyder too until I realized how small Bryant is and he has an injury history. Same with the others. I need to see something with all of those guys first. And for sure...if you can get anything, go for it.

I think I heard on a podcast Jamison was given the most GTD $. Is that true? He's looked good so far so maybe they really see something in him?
