If they could get a first round 2024 pick from a bad team that would be great. Next year is going to have at least 2 QBs better than any of the guys coming out this year.

I'd take a first this year in a heartbeat.

This year isn't really loaded with a lot of top end talent. That's why I would prefer a first next year from a team that isn't likely to finish high.

And we then trade down and then back up with our lower picks. This would allow us to focus all our picks in rounds 2-5.

1st round pick at the minimum. And we know that will probably not happen, so this thread is moot

Well, if we hadn't traded up - my choice for our picks would have been Patrick Surtain II, Breece Hall, and the 1st round this year still to be determined (either the top OT available at the spot, or I kinda like WR Quentin Johnston if he falls that far). So that's what it would take for me to trade Lance. Since that is impossible...as is us recouping the capital we spent to get him...this is a pointless topic. Trading Lance for what we would be offered at this point, would just be stupid.

He's young, cheap, and under contract for 2-3 more years. Why would we trade him? His value is low right now and we had depth issues. Makes no sense.

Aaron Rodgers. That's it. I don't want the picks. This team is loaded at every position besides Quarterback, so what is even the point

Penei Sewell is all i would trade him for and that isnt happening. Picks wont help us win now so we might as well have an extra promissing qb

Some of you guys seem to be confusing Trey Lance with Zach Wilson who was picked ahead of Trey.
