when you lose an all pro and a rookie comes in and we are playing well enough where the defense is playing well enough where the game is over by the 3rd Q consistently that is a huge win.
Brown has played extremely well and expecting perfect games every game by every player is a bit ridiculous. Overall for the season he has been very good
This is why the "Hufanga might be expendable" take was ridiculous. Brown is not an in the box safety. He is best paired with Hufanga who run fits better and controls the middle extremely well. Brown has room to grow, but leaders like Warner will hold him accountable while vets like Gipson and Ryan can mentor him. This is a big bounce back game. Response to adversity is what distinguishes 12 year careers from 3 year careers.

they have different skillsets i never got that either . they will look great together when Huf comes back for years
You also don't get better without making mistakes it isn't like he is making mistakes all games its just a few plays here and there overall he has been good

Hufanga had a stretch in the second half of last season where he gave up a TD in like 5 straight games before lighting it up in the playoffs. I'm glad Brown is taking some lumps now and hopefully he's solid come playoffs when we need him.

This wasn't a fun tape for Fred either. It happens. Brown is a rookie...the whole defense has a tough week ahead of them watching themselves from this game.
And they better clean it up quick cuz Ravens will light us up if we're playing this sloppy on Monday.

Maybe the ravens should also worry about getting lit up on defense especially after they got embarrassed by the Rams office. Also, last time I checked, the ravens don't have the injuries we have to great players on defense

Brown is good but he's a rook. Ideally he wouldn't be playing but that's what happens with injuries.

I would have agreed with you three games ago, but not now
Huf sometimes misses tackles after flying in trying for the hit
Brown got flat out bullied today

Where's OTC at? He was pretty spot-on with his college assessment of Brown. Poor angles and poor tackling.
