I'm not even sure Sorensen understands the scheme, or if we're even running a scheme.

Guy took another bad angle today on the James Cook long TD run. This seems to be a normal occurrence with him every game. I really hope they get another safety in the off-season.
yeah he's a backup, not a starter

He's also really slow in coming down and filling his gap
He takes bad angles and looks confused. I would like to see him with a competent defensive staff before completely writing him off.

The defense called has nothing to do with his horrid tackling techniques and angles. He did the same in college

I guess I should've clarified. A staff that will coach fundamentals like tackling and proper angles.

This showed on tape in college and I was screaming this from the rooftops when we picked him.

-late to the play
-slow to diagnose
-easily fooled by PA/misdirection
-poor tackler/frequently poor angles
-poor in coverage/interceptions were gifts, not due to individual effort

He looked like a round 7 guy. I don't know if he'd even be good on special teams due to his bad tackling habits/angles.

Its the NFL; if you still need to learn how to tackle and the proper angles then you probably are in the wrong profession and should not be considered a "pro" at it lol
Another bust by Lynch.

He was doing all that with wilks last year. He was looking like a legit safety out there. Now I wanna see how mustafa does with a competent DC

This isn't true at all. He was still taking poor angles, missing tackles, and had questionable effort during the playoffs.

I don't disagree with you, but competent coaching staffs still teach fundamentals.
Dude has no business starting in the nfl
