I was at the Senior Bowl and Luter was fantastic in the 1v1's. He came from a small school but has everything you want, from a measurable standpoint. He's tall, long, has good speed. He was also highly productive in college even with teams avoiding him like the plague. He was the best defender on a small school team so opponents would avoid him.

That was the big reason he was available late in the draft. Then, news out of mini-camps was he looked way ahead of a rookie.

Was he the guy that reporters were saying acted like a 10 year veteran? Based on how he practices and his maturity.

If so, it wouldn't surprise me at all if he's our second best corner come playoff time.

Homerism, faith, and hope. Anything else folks say is BS.

I've been impressed by the secondary, mainly Ward, D-Mo, Oliver, Huf, & Gipson, I'm iffy on Ambry, Sheffield looked good in garbage time, Brown was inactive. I hope Luter gets back soon, Womack won't be back soon, his injury I believe was a MCL tear or slight tear, like 6-8 week injury. But want to see Luter, and also Beal back, both eligible now to practice tomorrow if they open the 3 week practice window for them.

Come on AB. It's ok to call the guy trash. he's not good

Lol, he makes some good plays, but more bad plays, he made a good play Sunday in coverage, then had a DPI that prolonged a Cardinals drive, so frustrating.

His ball skills are on 0. he's usually in the area but rarely makes the proper play on the ball. And ends up getting a DPI.

He's a Lynch 5th rounder. That's all I got.

Good stuff Jonny, didn't know you were at the Senior Bowl, I'm intrigued by Luter, hope he's healing.

Oh yeah I was. Got credentialed and everything!! Gonna go back next year too. Was a ton of fun and all the guys I came out as "my guys" got picked by the 3rd round.
I was super high on:
Sydney Brown - 1st safety off the board
O'Cyrus Torrence - now a starting guard for BUF
Byron Young - starting OLB/DE for the Rams
Keannu Benton - starter for PITT with Heyward out
Cam Latu - our 3rd round TE
Daiyan Henley - picked late 3rd

I'm trying to remember, there were two other guys who got picked in the 3rd that were my guys.
Womack is the guy we need back.
