all based on this one on one drill during the Sr Bowl.. all hoping to have someone better than 2 and 20..

I was at the Senior Bowl and Luter was fantastic in the 1v1's. He came from a small school but has everything you want, from a measurable standpoint. He's tall, long, has good speed. He was also highly productive in college even with teams avoiding him like the plague. He was the best defender on a small school team so opponents would avoid him.

That was the big reason he was available late in the draft. Then, news out of mini-camps was he looked way ahead of a rookie.

Good stuff Jonny, didn't know you were at the Senior Bowl, I'm intrigued by Luter, hope he's healing.

Same here!

Oh yeah I was. Got credentialed and everything!! Gonna go back next year too. Was a ton of fun and all the guys I came out as "my guys" got picked by the 3rd round.
I was super high on:
Sydney Brown - 1st safety off the board
O'Cyrus Torrence - now a starting guard for BUF
Byron Young - starting OLB/DE for the Rams
Keannu Benton - starter for PITT with Heyward out
Cam Latu - our 3rd round TE
Daiyan Henley - picked late 3rd

I'm trying to remember, there were two other guys who got picked in the 3rd that were my guys.

Why Cohn has a credential to cover this team and not you is a disservice to this fanbase.

Both would be great, specially if Wilks can continue to develop them into top notch defensive backs. Doing that successfully will help the 49ers chances of getting through the playoffs and into the Super Bowl.

wooooooo!! Womack be Feisty !!! he's a playmaker !!!

he's one of those players that magnetize the ball and make plays some how...
Starting to wonder if he had more than a bone bruise, and was like a fractured patella or something.

😅 I'm only wondering because we haven't heard a peep about his health!

On Greenlaw I was just concerned with how it looked! Sorry!

My guess is that his knee is nearly healed, but he needs to ramp back up on his conditioning to sustain an NFL season. And given you only have a few week window to take someone off of PUP and place them on the active roster or IR, they want to time it right.
I forgot we drafted this guy!

Anyone know his status?

He still hasn't been activated? Practicing?

MAYBE,... just maybe, more like Beal, both were never part of the PLAN this year..

Serious nepotism... and my dad was a sports writer. "I'm an engineer therfore I am one", but also know a man must know his limitations. I am not a great writer like my dad. He always said do not put your opinion in an article unless you have facts to back it up. Cohn has no business being a sports writer and I cringe at his great click bait story headlines.
I thought this guy was supposed to be the answer?

Waste of a draft pick so far.

Still injured?

Yeah. I'm guessing one of the reason front office didn't overpay for a corner is Luter and Womak will be on the roster soon.
What is their injuries?

Luter been out for months
