I doubt Oliver gets cut before the season is over. They have very little depth and he's a sunk cost with bunch of money paid and dead cap. Plus he isn't so bad when the other team doesnt put speed in the slot.

That's the problem.

The dead money is $1,4M and a minor cap savings. That isn't worth keeping him on the roster if all he can do is defend TEs in the slot and on running plays.

Yes, our DB depth is not good so he likely stays unless Womack comes back and plays well. It all points to the need to for better CBs.

I hope so. As well as the secondary played last week, we need all the help we can get there, and I want Oliver pushed as far down the depth chart as he can go.
