Kocureck's future pass rush specialist
This is a type of pick I do like. Project with good upside.

Great pick. Again, Shanny & Co. addressing the periphery of an already talented roster to replenish depth. Finding an EDGE rusher opposite of Bosa is a top priority. Between Drake Jackson, Clelin Ferrell, Kerry Hyder Jr., and now Robert Beal Jr. we have enough bodied to battle that out. At the very least we have a great EDGE rotation to throw at offenses. With Hargrave and AA anchoring the middle our EDGE rushers should see a lot of 1-on-1's this season. This is a great pick.

Just like the Eagles

The only difference is that we're not gonna be featuring a 5 man front like the Eagles did.

How does Beal compare to Drake Jackson in your opinion?

I wasn't making a 1-to-1 comparison. Beal is much faster off the EDGE than Jackson, Jackson is the better overall talent, but Beal looks to use his hands much better than Jackson. But I also think that Beal will need to put on some weight. 247lbs in this scheme won't cut it long-term. Jackson just hit a rookie wall with his conditioning last season. I see him making a big jump this season. With the additions of Ferrell, Hyder resigning, and Beal being drafted I think this will focus Jackson to make a 2nd year leap.
This is kind of what you want late round.
I am very intrigued by this guy. It fees like a guy Kocurek pounded the table for. He could be our Dee Ford (but healthy)

I definitely though about that. Just crazy athletic. Hope he makes the game day roster in year 1.
Hopefully he takes advantage of the current golden resources the niners is having- Kocurek, Bosa, Trent Williams. If his character matches well with his measurables, his future looks bright.
Textbook scheme fit. Measurables are off the charts. If Kocurek can mold it all together like he does with almost everyone, the sky is the absolute limit.
WE GOT US A DAWG!

What do you see that makes him raw?

I think he plays with great leverage for such a great athlete.

Nah I disagree about "great leverage", his pad levels could be lower. Raw because his pass rush arsenal needs refinement and he doesn't really have much of one. That said, this is a great pick and one of my favorites if not my favorite of this class. Perfect prospect for this scheme and moldable piece of clay for Kourecek. He has everything in him to be the Dee Ford speed rusher we've been looking to find
Georgia had a lot more talented players in fron of him, so this stunted his development-hopefully he can be like the Terrel Davis of DE. Needs a lot of refinement though.
Good player in normal scenario but he's been given the 9ers 5th round power boost card.

Should be HOF by mid season.

Quite honestly, Jackson, Ferrell, and Beal all could take some serious leaps with this team. It might be the best collection of talent on paper, we've ever had at end when you count Bosa and Hyder.
