This! Greenlaw is a good player but man he seems like a personal foul waiting to happen. Always seem to be right up against the that line.

Greenlaw is still developing and maturing and I'm more sure than not that he will/can fix this.

it's not fixable.. it's in-born.. the anger when he fails to make a play or the anger when a play happens in front of him and he can't do anything about just pushes him to make a bad decision..

For each great plays he makes, there are two head scratching AFTER THE PLAY decisions we must always witness..
Greenlaw does make bone-headed plays but it's a cost worth paying - he sets the physical tone with his tackling and comes up big in big games. It's worth the odd 15 yard penalty.

His great plays far outweigh his bone headed plays.

Hopefully he'll get a chance to go up against Feliciano (another hot head) in practice b/c there's going to be a lot of smoke.

Hope this guy takes a big step. His speed would be great on the field to replace Dre

Do you think he didn't play this season because they wanted him to add some more weight?

I think he and Jalen Graham didn't play because they trusted veterans Burks and Flannigan-Fowles more.

Which is very disappointing and not a good sign considering burks and flannigan are buns. Fred, Dre, Azeez, etc. all got on the field a lot as rookies.

I wonder if that had a lot to do with Wilks? Jalen Graham looked pretty good with his reads and in coverage during the preseason. Not sure what kept him off the field.

We didnt have a choice. When you are bad, you play rookies. It's happened less and less since 2019. We have a lot of young guys that should see significant play time in 2024.

True. I think he will be a player for us next season. J brown and him should infuse some youth and fresh energy into the defense. Need a big NT and a pure speed rusher too, hopefully out of the draft
