He moves like a young Ali and seems to have good hands. But his 40 times have ranged from 4.5 to 4.75.

Head coach Jim Haslett recently timed Pearson at a 4.28 40-yard dash. Assuming that's accurate, and given what we've seen on film, he merits a long look in the NFL this preseason.

Agree. Also, that clip doesn't show much else other than speed. Remember due to NFL rules the corner basically can't touch him at all, so guys can basically just run right by the DB if they're fast enough.
The rep doesn't really simulate anything.

Pearson looks about on par with Ray-Ray McCloud's speed. They clocked somewhat similarly in their pro-day's coming out of college.
He's not slow, but he's definitely not close to Tyreek. The safety he got by, if I'm not mistaken, was Avery Young, who ran a 4.78
