This is all we're about here with a stacked roster @ the top.

If fact a lot of these UDFA they signed could be vying for a spot on the team. B+

When u dont take even 1 OLinemen....it's a great bargaining point when it comes to getting the best available in your camp.

Reviews immediately after a draft are entertaining. Check back in a few years.

- NFL Pick 'em
The Niners never pick any of the guys I want and yet they have one of the best readers in the NFL. Other than Moody and Latu I like this draft. All these guys have an uphill battle to make the team though.
B
considering the lack of quality selections before the draft its a solid B. I like the Brown pick as an early replacement for Gipson. I'm fine with Moody, replacing gould could be hard given his performance especially in the playoffs. He should beat Gonzalez in camp. the Latu pick looks like a reach, but they couldn't know that nobody is going to pick a TE in round 4 after the run in first 3 rounds.
Luter, Beal and Winters should provide good depth or maybe more in positions of need.
Depth of the d-line: as Interior players we have Hargrave, Armstead, Kinlaw, Givens, Davis, McGill as edge we have Bosa, Jackson, Ferrell, Hyder, Bryant, Barrett and Neal. That's good depth and we have Kocurek as a coach. This group is definitely good.
O-Line Depth: the post draft interview from lynch is interessting. seems like they had no confidence in people like Jones, Freeland, Warren and Co..
I like the Fisher pickup as an udfa. maybe he pans out in the future. With guys like Poe, Pryor, Zakelj, Moore, McKivitz and even Burford there is a lot of uncertainty for the next season. i hope it works..... It's good that Trent, Banks and Brendel are back.

I think considering the picks we were working with and our penchant for blowing early picks but hitting HRs late in the draft, I would say it was a C - average.
Like last year with C and RG (assuming Burford isn't #1 option at RT this year), the "open competition at RT is an obvious need and we have done minimal to address. Essentially Lynch and Shanahan are of the mind that they can develop the players already on the roster (Moore, McKivitz, Zakelj, Po, etc. similarly to Brendel and Burford last year. That ultimately the difference is minimal in the grand scheme.
We came into this offseason at #2 in the NFC. Nothing that happened in the draft changed any of that. Regardless of which QB is playing Lance or Purdy. Our team formula is "adequate QB play" with a whole host of talent around them.
The only player I see making a big impact immediately is the K. He better be good, because that guy now has a draft stigma that's not his fault, but he'll be up against. But assuming he's the only "starter", we got excellent depth at S and CB, but unlike Ward and Hufanga, the starters are up in the air.
Added another pass rusher which is standard operating procedure. And then more fliers. Due specifically to our ability to draft in the fifth round, I expect our CB Luter to be good. I like that we added competition for TE2, OLB, MLB2, CB2, 2nd/3rd Safety Depth (dime), Slot, and DE2.
So we have a "wait and see" approach with our OL on the right side, and then some good competition elsewhere.
We must be in win it all at all costs this year mode, IMO. I feel like we've assembled too many high contracts, the house of cards will come down like it did for the Rams. We need that this year.

Not really a good draft If we're gonna be honest, but I kinda expected that considering we didn't have a first or second round pick to work with.
Overall, I give It a solid "C" and that's being generous

Good solid draft that addressed some needs and ignored others.
I will say I think picking Latu over Freeland was a mistake and it will show immediately when Willis beats out Latu for a roster spot.
If you switch Latu with Freeland in the 3rd and Graham with Ricks in the 7th I think the 49ers would have a A draft without having draft picks in the 1st or 2nd round.
