Who the heck is Brandon Allen???
Brandon Allen was Joe Burrow's backup last year, actually might have been his backup for multiple seasons. Dude definitely looks like a QB2 and possibly a great QB3

That would be hilarious. Kyle loved Trey and Darnold and his 2 best QB's end up being Brock and Allen.
Allen did pretty alright
Darnold and Allen should be the 2 competing for QB2.
Allen didn't need to throw that ball that hard, INT will always be the result lol
QB3? Maybe, QB2?

He seems way overqualified for QB4. It's like what are you doing here? Why aren't you on another squad, as QB2?
Considering our QB injury history, can we afford to risk losing him?

Allen has a legit chance to be QB3

Exactly who will the niners get rid of in order for this to happen?

Javon Kinlaw
Dug this one out of the trash bin right b4 it made it to page 2. I think he's our new #3 guy per the reporter below,...and some cool factoids to boot so this 30 y/o kid stops getting looked over...

He looked good against the Raiders. He would be a very good QB3.

He's been getting alot of support here lately.

Just not in this thread?
Perfect time for some Brandon Allen news. What's the 4-1-1 on how this guy is really doing? I had no idea what he looked like or who he even was until today's Trey hoopla.

Been reading some rave reviews in the last day, albeit only from posters lately.

Does he over take Trey in the next couple coming weeks? Or does Trey rebound?

Maybe some here can detail the nuances about Brandon Allen's game and why he's a better fit for the #2 or #3 spot.

Allen has earned the QB3 job as far as I am concerned, but it looks to me like ShannaLynch aren't quite ready to take care of business and trade/cut TL this year... just body language bs tells me KS is going to hang on to him and is not ready to throw in the towel just yet... me thinks KS is trying to save face on his draft blunder.

What has he done to earn it in your view?

I know you're not asking me but IMO:

For one he's got NFL starting experience. Two, multiple times I've heard rave reviews from Shanahan and Lynch. I'm not able to see how he is in practice or TC so that's all I got to go by. Three from the little chance he had to shine, he made some good throws vs LV.

Now I ask you what hasn't he done??
