He's a good YAC guy and a very willing blocker which I'm sure all helped in getting him over to the 49ers. Could be a fun player to watch in the preseason.

For all of those who like a BIG WR, this is your guy. Very productive all throughout college, still underdeveloped as a route runner, has some issues with drops but has a big body and he knows how to use it well in securing passes.
He's a good YAC guy and a very willing blocker which I'm sure all helped in getting him over to the 49ers. Could be a fun player to watch in the preseason.

I have a hard time understanding how no one was interested in a productive player with tools like this.
I imagine our FO had to be surprised he was even available.
Yeah, he timed slow as molasses, but so did Jarvis Landry, Jennings, and a number of other good pros.

This is why I've learned to stop questioning our draft picks. Yeah some fail, but the draft is a coin flip, and yet we still manage to find productive players in the later rounds or as UDFA. Kid looks like he could be another Jennings, as Jennings is probably on his way out after this season

…..but on the other hand, kid looks quick in and out of breaks. If nothing else, could be that 3rd/4th down Possesion receiver - keep the drive alive. AT that height, with those moves, he looks like he can consistently get open in 2 -2.5 seconds. Impressive. (Assuming he has good hands)
No clue whether or not those moves will hold up against NFL Calibre DB's

There's varying reports of 4.5s and 4.7s. To me he looks closer to 4.7s.
