Not a well thought out schedule IMO. The games just don't pan out well. Play LA in week 2 and last week on season but play Seattle pretty much back to back.

Open the season cross country at 10am slot then come all the way back to LA on the road to open the season
only to barely catch our breaths to play NY on a Thursday. Really ?
The schedule looks awesome to me. Maybe not for players. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years Eve? Wow…

What a though schedule but bring it..
Schedule doesn't look too tough. 👀

I see no reason why we shouldn't be 7-0 going into week 8 vs the Bengals

Cowboys will be a tough game. I think a lot of people are underestimating their moves this off season. I think we will beat them but it isn't a gimme

what they do?

Add an old ass Stephon Gilmore & aging WR. Still will be a tough game because their d overall but should be a win because look whose their qb

Well and they said they're going back to more of a run first team and depend on dak less. Which is the type of play that benefitd dak the most. He's a good game manager but not when he is relied on to win games

When Dak was at his best they had a prime before he got paid Zeke and a great all around oline. They say they wanna do that but let's see if Pollard can be the workhorse

Yeah. The RB is really important and idk if he can be the work horse. Dallas is a good team though, we are just better. Didn't they add a WR? I can't quite remember. I just know they'll be a legitimate challenged especially with it being a rivalry

Dallas is good but their Defense is a bit inconsistent. Especially in their secondary. Some games vs the run too.

The wr they got was Brandon Cooks. An ok #1 but a very good #2

Also, we only have 4 10:00am starts

That's right, cooks - great compliment to Lamb. Also, they have a really good pass rush, which Gilmore should compliment really well.

if they run a solid run first offense - that'll help dak a lot. They'll be dangerous. We are still better but that isn't a gimme and I think they give Philly a run for that division.

Start the season in Pitt, then on to LA for a Sunday game, then off to NY for a Thursday game. That'll be a b***h.

The NY Game is at home

Thanks. I must have confused something. That's kinda easy at my age.
3 Losses - First game against Pittsburgh. And against Philly. And at home against Ravens. We win everything else.

Philly will be tough but the ravens?? Fook them. Winter will be comin in hot and Purdy will drop so many points that they'll have to pass. Muahahah a rookie and old OBJ isn't enough to convince me that they'll be a dominant pass team

Players have plenty of time to prepare for opening the season on the east coast and it's one less game you have to travel cross country for what could have been an early game in mid or late season.

Coming back to play LA in week 2 means a short trip home since we have a short week following. It's not all bad, following the Giants game we get a few extra days of additional rest and preparation time, early in the year, for a team that has had struggles with health.

We also get additional time to prepare for the biggest game on our schedule currently, Philly. And one extra day to prep for Baltimore late in the year since it's a Monday night, a game which could have implications wrt playoff seeding.
Plan to be there for Dallas and the Vikings! Let's go!
In theory the 49ers should be able to get a headstart on game planning for the Giants in week 3 Thursday Night Football the week before as they know Rams week 2 inside and out.
I've never liked back to back road trip openers, Rams week 2 will be a healthyish Rams so not as easy as we think.
I can see us going 3-3 to start the season. I also think we lose at home to the Cowgirls and Bengals.
Playing Seattle twice in 3 weeks sandwiched with Philly is a tough stretch.
Think we get to 10 or 11 wins.
