This team seemed to start out slow in recent years. Like the first 6 games or so. Hopefully Brock will given us that rookie off the bench, hit the ground running enegy like last year.

I'm not usually one to complain about schedules, because we won't truly know until the season is finished, but this is awful.

Regardless, im not expecting the 49ers to make a deep playoff run this year.

We have 5 "prime Time" games but I really don't count Thursday night cuz those kind of suck, only 1 SNF so we're getting screwed on the primetime stuff. Well OK not bad the two MNF are pretty big matchups so it's alright but still TV is king and rules the game schedule anymore. The league doesn't give any f**ks about how difficult they make it on a West Coast team with traveling. Still 2 Thursday night games in the same season just kills me.

Admittedly I'm on vacation and didn't study the schedule, but I really doubt our schedule difficulty vs other teams will have a major bearing one way or the other. Seems like we caught some breaks here and have some bad stretches there, but ultimately we're the 2nd best NFC team and probably a top 5 team overall. Which is where we were before the draft.

We've made the NFCCG last two years, and I'd say our team at a minimum is as good if not better. So I disagree with your comment.

We never know how hard a schedule is until the season is being played out.

i don't like how we have so many home/away games back to back. I don't like how many teams have their bye before playing us. We are playing some good teams this year and a lot of up n coming teams. It'll be a tough schedule but we are good enough.

i do like that our CLE & MIN are back to back so we can stay in Youngstown to mitigate miles traveled.

we also play a lot of prime time games, which is good for keeping the team focused and motivated. We will see - if we can finish 13-4 or 14-3, then we have a real chance at the 1 seed.

let's see who Purdys first loss is to (regular season)! Should do a pool on that. Dun dun dunnn
