that's the power of Tom Effing Brady

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft announced Thursday morning that Tom Brady will be honored at the team's 2023 home opener, which will come against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Sept. 10.

"I invited him back to be with us at the opening game and let the fans in New England thank him ... it will be the beginning of many celebrations to honor Tom Brady," Kraft said on NFL Network.

Ahhhh that makes more sense. I get it though, I'm sure we would do the same if it was a ceremony for Jerry rice or Montana/young.

Lol kind of sucks that the game he will have a ceremony is one they'll most likely get rocked at.

They did play 2 SB's against each other and are 1-1. So yea they have a little rivalry
Those 2 Thursday games with the short turn around really bother me.

Consider afterwards it's like a mini bye week

that's some b******t. Something about four 49er opponents will be coming off a bye, rested and well film prepped. Maybe this is intentional, NFL sick of seeing the 49ers in the final four.

Was just about to post this. Brutal schedule in terms of rest/travel
The Niners are at the biggest disadvantage by a wide margin. I don't see how they couldn't adjust that. That is horrific but we will still win 12 or 13 games it's just that the scheduling might cost us the bye week which is super important in making the Super Bowl. Figures
