West coast teams that are good and get Monday or Sunday night games will always have a chance of being disadvantaged if they have an Eastern road game the following week. More teams are in the Eastern zone so the odds are stacked against west coast teams. They lose a day for travel that is a normal prep day. I suppose they can do film study. It's nearly impossible to make the schedule fair for everyone with teams spread allover.
Man, prices have gone up in the 10 years since I last attended a live game (It's an 11 hour flight to get there). Last season opener at Candlestick. Anyway, we'll be there for the Arizona game Oct 1. Hopefully we'll be gunning for 4-0 at that time

You're talking about a travel day which is fine but I am talking about the humongous disparity between the 49ers and everybody else. You can even include the Rams in there. When you're comparing it to the other teams like Seattle and Arizona they found a way to put them at a smaller disadvantage. So it is very possible to make the schedule fair for everyone with team spread all over

Arizona is +5 and Denver is +3 by the way. Those are West Coast teams so what you stated has nothing to do with the difficulties of being fair to West Coast teams. This was definitely intentional

With all the new tv contracts, is there a special 49er package only? Looks like I can get rid of my DirecTV after 20+ years since NFL Sunday Ticket will no longer be under them.. this is my only gift to myself the whole year, so u all know where I can get the 49ers only package?

Plenty of free streams on the Internet.
Any word yet if the team plans to stay somewhere back East (such as Youngstowm) between Browns Week 6 game (Sun 10/15) and Vikings Week 7 game (Mon 10/23)?
I hate to feed the narrative of whining, especially when it doesn't fix anything now. But the schedule makers really boned us.

3 games in a row of facing teams coming off their bye. The extra rest, and prep they have.Such an advantage to the other team. Not to mention the Niners coming off a short week from MNF. And when we come off our bye, so are the Jags.

Then there is our second Thursday night game.

They talked about this on Foxsports radio, it was the 49ers and another team that had the most teams coming off a bye to face. Also, the 49ers are on the road 9 times compared to playing at home only 8, is that normal??
I think, 49ers will going to playoff this year. I know the 49ers record is 5-3 right now. If we are still have Steve Wilks because we knows that wilks was so suck for calls plays. Anyway. I guess. The 49ers will be 10-7 or 11-6.

Yes. With the 17-game season it'll alternate each year whether the 17th game is a home or road game. Last year it was a home game, this year it is a road game.

Three damn games left, then three more after that if we're lucky How come the season goes by so fast? This current team has been so fun to watch that it's going to be hard for future teams to measure up. Feels like just yesterday that we got to see Pitts get stomped at home and I can barely remember any of the Dallas game.

It's just crazy how fast the NFL season flies by.
