hoping we stack a lot of hard early season games.. at PIT is no gimme, that's a SB winning HC, strong fanbase, lot of O weapons that are young, TJ Watt, etc

early season is kinda the new preseason, so get the rough games off the schedule and hopefully win some tight ones early season, while we get our rhythm

KC versus Detroit that's what they pick as the season opening game. I know the Lions are an up-and-coming team and entertaining offense but really don't have true national appeal. If this is a troll job by the NFL, well played Goodell.

Chicago had to play in it too and roster was exponentially better than theirs. They still won. The rain didn't come pouring down until the fourth, which we only put up a few points until then. We lost that game. The weather isn't an excuse. We had every tool available to win but we sucked booty. It is what it is.

pitt week 1 should be a win because Pickett isn't very good and our defense is elite. He will struggle immensely. Our defense is best against QBs like him. Unless he makes some enormous leap. Which would suck for us. Lol

Conditions like that tend to level the talent playing field imo.

We had every tool available maybe you don't follow the team that closely or were not caught up on current events. We were out the best tight end in football in George Kittle, we were out Ward who would've never given up those two broken plays and that's just to name a couple. Mitchell was destroying them until he got injured, he had 50 yards in the first quarter alone so we would've easily whipped their ass if just Mitchell was not injured. Again, maybe you missed the game and didn't realize it. Not excuses…..reality
