Is the DE dropping into coverage a new wrinkle for our defense? Jackson is a super freak athletically, so it makes sense, but I can't remember seeing us run that.

No it's not, we've seen it for years actually.

Who was the receiver Nick Bosa had to cover and strapped him?

I think they all need to play. I doubt he does though

Brock should definitely play too. At least a series or something.

He obviously can, he's just been inconsistent with it. That's all. I think he'll be much improved going forward but his accuracy on them has been sketchy.

How can you be inconsistent doing something, when in reality he hasn't played enough to make that claim? Jimmy being inconsistent at throwing a deep ball is a known thing, there's yrs worth of film backing it up (currently happening in LV TC as well).

Oh man I can't remember.

I'm not sure limitations is the right term for this tweet, or at least they didn't explain it. Limitations would be if he simply couldn't put enough on it and caused the issue but they didn't say that and made it sound like a bad read which can happen to anyone.

I'm also not sure this is necessarily a bad thing. He may be taking chances in practice that he otherwise wouldn't in a real game in order to determine boundaries. Practice is about getting better, not winning the individual plays. If a guy is always taking the easy path in practice that won't help them in the long run. It could also have just been an outright bad decision or two, as well. Either way, something to learn from.

I would think that would be a mistake for the team. If TL stacks solid days on top of each other in camp and then has a great preseason and Purdy struggles out of the gates I think you have an immediate controversy on your hands.

And right so if it happens as you paint your szenario!

He's been inconsistent with it in the times he's played. That's all we can gauge him on it. It's something that's been reported in the previous two training camps too.

You want to know how dumb that argument is? That's like when you say Brock has a habit of bailing out to the left and issue throwing right and me saying "he's only started 7 games, how can it be an issue/habit with such a small sample size?".

but you're quick to bring it up about brock but with Lance you throw any issues he's displayed out and say he hasn't played enough m.
