Wow, unusual to see the normally even-keeled and calm Grant Cohn get this fired up.

49ers practice thoughts:
— John Dickinson (@JDJohnDickinson) August 1, 2023
— Brock Purdy's best day of camp to date (good in red zone portion)
— Brandon Allen sharpest of other 3 QB's
— Darnold struggled in red zone
— Jaylon Moore suffered a leg injury (severity unknown).
— Jake Moody missed a FG (43yds) but connected on what…
Trey Lance had a solid day for the third straight day. Still missed on some short passes, but overall passes are crisp and his release has been the quickest of the group.

idk why someone would say allen was sharper than Lance/Darnold - he plays against the threes and gets the least amount of reps. It's a whole different ball game.
The analysis for Lance and darnold should be between Lance and darnold, unless they're getting some first team. Then you can throw in Purdy.
Each rep team is an entirely different caliber of players.
CB Isaiah Oliver on Brock Purdy:

"It looks like he's throwing the ball the same. It's good for him & his confidence. It takes extra step or two coming back from injury. I've talked to him about it. As long as he's confident & it doesn't hurt, he's going to be a hell of a player"

Brock Purdy's crispest performance of 49ers camp so far. He made SF's biggest throws of the day, including a beautiful end zone corner to Jauan Jennings. As usual, Purdy was the only QB to work vs first-team defense.

Purdy: 8-10, dropped INT
Lance: 4-6
Darnold: 2-6
Allen: 4-4
Darnold with a few near int?! That's the guy I expected to see more of early in camp. Lol
Darnolds been consistently solid through camp but Lance is stacking really good days. This is going to be a fun battle to follow all camp. Very curious to see who does better against the raiders.
hope to see these near picks by Brock get cleaned up as camp goes on.

Isn't this guy a Brock homer? Everyone else said Brock didn't have a great day at all. Allen had 4 passing attempts lol

I have no idea who he is. I don't even follow anyone on Twitter. I just made one recently so I search "49ers" or purdy or Lance kr whoever and get updates as they come out.
ive read from quite a few people that Purdy had one of his best days. It's only his fourth practice. Only guys I've seen say Purdy had a bad day is Cohn (which is a moron. He's the guy you b***h slap for sayin dumb s**t all the time if he's hanging out with your group of friends) and some
Guy named Ryan G - which I've never seen someone ride a player harder than he does for Lance. This guy would die for Lance if he had the chance. Lmao it's kinda strange his obsession.

Brock Purdy was worse than Sam Darnold today? Yeah no 😂
