With two padded practices, seems like Brock and Lance have elevated and Darnold has regressed. But each practice seems to be unique. Ultimately, it looks like all 3 top guys will make the team and niners will carry all three. Doubtful Allen will, unless someone offers a big trade for lance or Darnold.

brock had numerous nice plays today. A beautiful fade for a TD. Numerous chunk plays. Etc. There were sacks and bad throws too. It's camp.. it's his fourth so practice. He also had bad plays, it's camp.. everyone has bad plays. It's all part of a process

you don't think Trey isn't getting sacked? Why do you think there is a discrepancy in completions every day? You don't think Trey isn't checking down? He misses most of them. Missed two more today.

treys fourth practice was horrendous. Lol it's early stage in camp, there is nothing to worry about at this point. We don't even know the intention of each play. All we know if someone caught it or not each play, essentially worthless data on how they're actually running the offense to what Kyle wants. Lol

there is literally nothing to worry about at this point, at all. For any of the QBsYou're just stressed out because you want Trey to start.

You know why some fans like say what they say tankle. It's hilarious saying that Trey doesn't get the opportunities to work on check downs but when he does he still misses a lot of them? Talk about limitations? What a joke! I love Trey and all but he still can't hit simple check downs? Come on man

If Purdy screws up during the regular season, hopefully we will still have Trey if he is not traded. Then he can finish the year off and will know either way who our qb of the future is. It's a win-win in my opinion.
Can't read too much into these early practices. With Brock coming off injury and being a second year player. He's going to struggle with accuracy probably until the end of this year.

I'm mostly concerned with how quick he goes through reads. If he's throwing the correct read, what happens when the play breaks down how does he improvise, and how are his feet and mechanics under pressure.

The accuracy will probably come later and he will tend to be more of a streak player until he gets more time.

He's going to have some way off target throws. It's just going to happen. He's got 4 plays to make 10 yards at a time. He's only got to honestly be good for 2/3 of them at most to be extremely good.

I'm very happy with the way Trey is looked. People think me saying he needs to work on those short throws and hitting them more often, is like some crazy attack on Lance.

i think Trey has shown great improvement, especially his mechanics. He isn't turning the ball over. I haven't seen many of his training camp plays but I think he's off to a good start. He's also showed poise by bouncing back from a rough practice, which is awesome.

it's just that not every play is going to be perfect in camp, these guys are working on things that we aren't even aware of. So it's foolish to sit here and say one guy is doing better than the other - I trust Kyle on that. The only thing we can really critique are the obvious bad plays - for example: Brock throwing picks/near picks (which honestly we don't even know if the receiver ran the route right but he still shouldn't be hitting defenders in the #s) the sacks, Trey just missing guys short etc. every qb has things they need to improve on that are obvious. But to say one is playing better than the other by a bunch of random reports (mainly reports from people who are just YouTubers/tweeters, not pros) is nonsense.

it's still early in camp, I've seen nothing from any of them to worry about. I think each of the QB have shown consistent improvement as the days have gone on.

You lost me at struggle with accuracy all year. The arm, should be all the way back. No reason for him to be inaccurate, outside of knocking off rust just getting back at it. If BP is not accurate, that's like 90% of his game. He would suck.
jimmy about to put harm on Crosby!! Hahaha
oh hell yeah! We will be in field goal range if we just get a first down on most drives. Hahah
lmao this kid genuinely wants them all to ball. If it was up to him, all three would be starting at the same time hahah

Agreed. If he's not 100% of who he was last year he shouldn't start

We will miss out on Lance potential and his physical abilities while giving purdy the job.

He wasn't "given" the job. It was earned from his play last season.

Unfortunately for Lance, he got hurt both times before we had a chance to see him shine. Now we may never get to see that big arm of his in the playoffs.

interesting, Lance had some reps against/with 3rd string - I wonder why that is, are they taking down some of Allen's reps?

So that's THREE reporters who said Purdy was good today and one (Cohn, who shouldn't even count) saying he wasn't.

So again… where is this "Purdy was awful today according to all reporters!" coming from?
