You can't start for this team if you can't hit the short to midrange stuff with consistency. Sailing balls high is something he needed to work on too. I can't wait to see the preseason games to see how he does.

walking away at the peak of his powers.

I was more excited about him than Deebo at one point…

What a weird situation to come back only to retire so quickly afterwards.

The last guy I wanted off the team so badly, proved me right. Guess who the second guy I hope is not on the team??

The fact that Purdy off of extremely quick recovery is already outpacing lance and Darnold consistently against the first team defense is pretty remarkable. I saw the comment from another team executive that essentially said Purdy is only good because of our weapons and Shanahan is laughable and sour grapes because they didn't find Purdy.

Kyle got lucky getting Purdy, but Luck in my book is spelled W.O.R.K. Kyle know's his offensive . Purdy - if he's anything like last year - is going to WOW the NFL this year.

Dude never liked football

Dude was working to be a medical doctor; football was only a vacation from medical school.

That was the story anyway.....

Look at the dude now, he is out of space to put tattoos on his body..... he is not going to meet the social expectations that most people have for a doctor with his neck and hands all tattooed up.

Lol.
Pretty sure it was Witherspoon who was planning on being a doctor not Hurd, right?

So that's THREE reporters who said Purdy was good today and one (Cohn, who shouldn't even count) saying he wasn't.

So again… where is this "Purdy was awful today according to all reporters!" coming from?

Bias from the guys saying it. The same folks who are always saying they root for both Trey and Brock, but always have the backhanded compliments for Brock, how he's going to regress or dinks and dunks, never mind that he led the NFL in yards per completion and our team scored 33 points a game while he was starting, or throw a fit when anything negative, factual though it may be, about Trey's play is pointed out. It's clear who they are, they go into histrionics every time anyone is even slightly critical of Trey and anyone who says anything positive about Purdy is obviously a biased homer. I don't understand why some folks can't grasp the concept that it is okay to like both guys and want both to succeed.

pretty sure i am correct in thinking it was hurt who went to school to study Keinstology or something like that, the study of how bones and ligaments interact. His post draft interview he said something to the effect that the NFL was maybe a 4 year thing because he was going to medical school to be an MD.

Maybe i got the wrong guy but i am like 99% sure it was hurd.

I use to get Hurd and the guy who wanted to be a brain surgeon mixed up...i don't even remember that guys name..he was like a safety.

maybe i am wrong, but i think Hurd was the guy who had the professional head shots taken for the media...he wanted to look the doctor part.

He had a good play too in practice. I wonder if it's his back. Isn't that why he retired in the first place?

Times have changed, my man. Plus most will be covered up with the white coat. My dad asked me to not get tats but that's cause he came from an era where if you had tats, they were most likely from prison. Lol now a days they're just art and it's almost unusual to not see someone without them.

Where did you attend medical school?
How many years have you worked in this field?
What's your experience with this procedure?
Will this be covered by insurance?

And most importantly:
How many tats do you have?
