And now make that FOUR reporters who said Purdy was the best QB today, compared to ONE*** who said he wasn't.

*** = the one was Grant Cohn

i dont get the point in keep doing this

Purdy is the starter the team is clear in words and actions why are we doing this?

That isn't the argument. It's the different reports from media members that watch the same practices

i find this interesting as well, cohn is not a serious journalist, he has an agenda to promote TL no matter what

He plays you guys like a fiddle. He knows if he says good things about Trey guys will freak out. So he counters that by saying bad things about Brock knowing the same guys will freak out. He's a very smart and talented troll like his worthless father was

Any news on webzone faves Jason Poe or Kalia Davis? I havent heard one single blurb on neither.

Yeah, he definitely knows what he is doing. He isn't a moron, just a poor sports journalist.

he has that "no shame" factor and will do whatever he thinks will generate views/clicks/money. He isn't someone that really cares about being respected or taken seriously, just wants to make some money and laugh. Good for him, it doesn't matter if I agree with it or not, I just don't pay attention to him. Every once in a while I'll accidentally post his tweet but I try not to.

as I learn more about these other guys I've shared, since idk any of them, I'll slowly weed out which ones I share - I just care that they take it seriously, I don't have to agree with them.

Also what is my bias? That I don't like to see a young QB ripped without merit? Guess I'm biased for both of them then.

Never heard of being a Stan?

Lmao idk what a "Stan" is either. I keep seeing "Trey Stan" and "Brock Stan" and imagine it's something bad but it sounds so ridiculous that I haven't bothered to ask.

lol started with Eminem song Stan. Basically crazy obsessed fan.
Not really. Its internet slang for STalker fAN. first 2 - last 2.

I like the first one better. Lol maybe eminem used Stan back then for the same slang.

Ummm that's exactly what it means. Stan was a stalker fan.

Have we really hit a generational gap where people don't know where Stan comes from. It absolutely comes from Eminem's song

Hahaha that song was massive. I just didn't realize what the Stan stood for. Makes sense though - great song

I'm just guessing here but it just says Jason Poe is probably the best IOL on the team

It's essentially a status update on each of the second year players and where they are at.

The most interesting part is about TDP. The first part is about Gore yelling out in support of TDP during a recent practice.

"Any feedback from him at all — it doesn't get any better than that," Davis-Price said when the scene was relayed to him a day later. "It really allows me to have the mindset to keep going. Because I'm nowhere near where I need to be or want to be, I promise you that."

Davis-Price is, however, decidedly farther along than he was last year. With the exception of defensive end Drake Jackson, he appears to have taken the most significant leap of any of the team's second-year players.

Last year there were a lot of dropped passes in practices from Davis-Price. This year, he's been sure-handed and he's running with visible confidence. Davis-Price said he was about 214 pounds at this point last year. He's now up around 228 pounds, his weight at LSU.

Awesome! It would be nice if one of these third round backs panned out! Especially a bruiser, something we haven't really had. We've had some physical guys but not one that managed to stay healthy.

would be awesome to be able to add that element to our offense, finesse/positionless… now reliable physical ground and pound
