Also, anyone that gives even a shred of criticism gets called a racist, MAGA supporter. Even if the person sharing the criticism happens to be black. And it's no surprise, some of the same folks saying s**t like that, keep insinuating CMC, Bosa, and Kittle are white supremacist. Like wtf?!?!

I have watched so many of Lombardi's videos and he's always defending trey, he likes him a lot. The accusations that he's biased against him solely comes from people who never watch his videos. There is no other explanation honestly

So anything short of 8-0 with Lance, breaking QB records in route to an MVP and winning a SB, will be a failure because even a limited 7th rd QB accomplished most of the same with a similar supporting cast.

but what we can expect to happen, is those same people minimizing Brock and everything he's accomplished in his short time starting. Will be the same people giving Lance all the credit, if he indeed does ever play well…scratch that…elite. (can't be well or really well, because well isn't good enough) they will no longer give the credit to Kittle, CMC, Kyle, Deebo, etc you can bank on that.

it's as if Lance can be the only QB that can get credit with this team.

How did Kyle get lucky? when he missed out on the next great 49er QB Sudfeld? Joe and young would've been an afterthought. It sucks that we're missing out on another great, only to be stuck with Purdy and Lance. What a shame.

Difference between objectivity and transparency - listing the numbers through 6 practice sessions vs listing the numbers through 6 practice sessions and adding the blurb about Purdy working exclusively vs the first string defense and noting how it's tougher and ignoring that he's also the only guy really playing with CMC and the first string OL.

...and here comes some context considering Trey had moments vs the 1st string defense and both practices he was without CMC and one practice without Trent Williams being out there


This is why this stuff is annoying. Just post it up and don't try to pump up someone when it's not needed. We've seen what Brock can do. Most of us understand coming back from that UCL injury is crazy impressive in itself. Having him shake off the rust and distribute the ball well is enough without having to prop him up.

Especially when it's been reported the team rotates players in the first string/second string and even third string at times.

Last year when Trey had a bad day at camp not once was it mentioned he was going up against the #1 Defense.

I agree call if fair all the way thru. Lombardo getting so defensive about his biases just adds fuel to fans fire that see his tweets lol.

I'm pretty certain it was said by many that Lance's up and down camp was at least partially attributable to us having a dominant defense, though I can't speak for Lombardi specifically.

Regardless, assuming that's accurate, do you not think it matters that there wasn't a high profile QB competition last season, and now there is? I'm certain these reporters weren't getting lambasted in replies by the Trey first guys when Trey was actually in line to be the starter.

Yeah. Lombardis videos are really good and informative too. He's always defending Trey and just being rational about him. People take a 40 word tweet and construe it how ever they want in those crazy ass Lance fans online.

Hopefully he's not paying attention. I think it's fair to say he's busting his ass and not playing victim like the nutters are doing on his behalf.
