He can't be getting too many targets, and yet we hear daily about dropped passes from multiple QBs.

Maybe he'll turn it around. Ja'Marr Chase had a ton of drops as a rookie during preseason and then had a great rookie season.

Oh, I know. That Ja'Marr thing was a big deal at the time. Couldn't catch a cold. He was drafted super late in my fantasy league because of it then he went off in his 1st game and everyone was like, "f**k"!

Even Jerry Rice had dropsies his first year. He was just too intense and wanting to prove himself. That went away. Latu has said that he has no excuses but the amount of things to know on each play with Shanahan's offense was distracting him from just playing. That too should go away.

I never understood the reasoning and threat of Darnold being the 2nd string QB. There's tons of tape of Darnold of course he can be better with this team surrounded by better coaching and talent but I never thought if Trey improved like he has he can be better than Trey. Maybe it was a push Trey needed not that I think he needs because from day 1 it always seemed he wanted to be great

We'll have to see how the snaps add up tomorrow. It may rotate.

That....sir..... is a very good reminder to not jump the gun on rookies....

You are 100% right..... I had forgotten about that...... Rice did struggle early
