Story of Trey's career so far, dropped passes.
Lance seems to be playing well, drops withstanding. The number of snaps vs Darnold suggests he should be considered QB2, at least for now.
I never understood the reasoning and threat of Darnold being the 2nd string QB. There's tons of tape of Darnold of course he can be better with this team surrounded by better coaching and talent but I never thought if Trey improved like he has he can be better than Trey. Maybe it was a push Trey needed not that I think he needs because from day 1 it always seemed he wanted to be great
I think Darnold was really only signed because of the uncertainty surrounding Brock's recovery at the time. I honestly believe Trey is a lock for QB2 barring Darnold having a phenomenal pre season performance.

Whenever you don't hear much at all about an O lineman, it usually means they're playing well. I haven't read his name much at all this summer. Arrow pointing up.

Kyle has always wanted Sam here. I think he wanted to see first hand if he could fix him. Overall he hasn't played better than Lance and I don't see him getting QB2. We will role with all 3 because we have too.

The accuracy has not looked good in clips the majority of camp and reports have corroborated that. Now this again today? I didn't think his ball placement was going to be this bad..

vs. Raiders
Brock Purdy
11-on-11 reps (all w/ the 1st team): 27
Passing: 11 of 16
Trey Lance
11-on-11 reps: 19
Passing: 6 of 12
Sam Darnold
11-on-11 reps: 9
Passing: 1 of 3
Brandon Allen
11-on-11 reps: 0
Sam seems to continue to fade. Based on reports, it never seemed like he was doing anything to threaten Trey. Lance has gotten more positive reports this camp and is now getting more reps. QB2 seems like his job at this point, barring something unforeseen.

D'Shawn Jamison 👀💯🔥🔥 pic.twitter.com/4ajOzcvbsx
Has to show he can do it on this level, and will get his chances, also I do think you want utility, beyond a strictly return man, so needs to show that also. But he has an opportunity here, and he seems to be making a good first impression.
Jamison making the team 100% now
I really like him, but I am not there yet, if he's putting the ball on the ground in prax or games at return man, and not helping outside of that. He has a path here, but needs to put forth a strong August

#49ers injuries per Kyle Shanahan:
— Tracy Sandler (@TracyFGSN) August 10, 2023
George Kittle (adductor) out this week.
Dre Greenlaw (hamstring) left practice early.
Drake Jackson (hamstring)
Ray-Ray McClound broke his wrist and needs surgery. He'll be out about 8 weeks.
Danny Gray is sore so kept out of practice.
Most bummed about Drake. I guess this means no snaps for him on Sunday.
Looks like hamstrings and abductors are this years injury theme

He's a better option than any other QB3, and our experience suggests we'll need a QB3 at some point.

Well, yea. If any QB gets cut, it will be Allen.
