Brock Purdy, when questioned about his arm, said his arm feels great, and he's still building "Back to Back" days, and he's trying to gain all the strength back that he can from rehabbing, and that he feels confident‼️#49ers || #fttb || #49wz pic.twitter.com/Btq4EkW0t1

In today's 11-on-11 situations with the Raiders, I had:
— Matt Barrows (@mattbarrows) August 10, 2023
* Brock Purdy 10-17
* Trey Lance 6-11
* Sam Darnold 1-3
Lance took more snaps than Darnold because of a more productive 2-minute drive to end practice. Brandon Allen did not get any 11-on-11 reps.

I think the numbers are different because some count the passes after the sacks and some don't.

"Yeah, the year before was real awkward," Garoppolo told the San Francisco Chronicle. "That was tougher than this past year, honestly. You're always gonna be dealt a hard hand at some point, and you've just got to make the best of it, and that's what I've tried to do. That was a hard time. But I had some good people around me to lean on.
"The brothers in the locker room, those guys played a big role. I don't think the fans always saw all that stuff, but those guys really picked me up when I was down sometimes. That's why I love those guys in the locker room. All the crap that we went through for four to five years, whatever it was, we all stayed together in the locker room, and I thought that's what made us such a tight group."

I really do think we are in great hands, this season. The recovery being so quick, he has time here to get these invaluable reps. I think we will even see him in preseason, although not this coming game.

It's not talked about a ton, but I feel like Kyle and Jimmy had a much more tumultuous relationship than has even been reported. I get this "internal screaming" vibe from Jimmy.

im not trippin on the interception, they happen in camp all the time. Take those chances - I don't worry if Lance or Darnold throws one either. Take your chances, push the envelope - figure out how things work against different defenses etc. i almost find it concerning when someone isn't throwing a few int here and there - either they're having an unbelievable camp (usually unlikely), they're playing super conservative, or they're just going for passes they know they can get against their own players since they know them so well.
people read way too much into situation drill stats. How's the move the ball drill going? How are they progressing through their reads, how's their pocket presence?
you can't even get hit or truly be rushed in practice - so the final result isn't the main thing - it's how you got to it. It's like the whole "show your work" in math class, the teacher didn't care if you got the answer right or not - they wanted to make sure you got it the right way by showing your process and work.
our team is going to be fine. Lol they'll be better for today and stayed healthy! Thank baby toddler infant Jesus

I think initially in the season, yes. Come end of year, I would expect any shortcomings to not be significant, although this depends completely on the CBs. Even so, I expect more interceptions and a more aggressive style of play, which I prefer, even though it can be exploited, and may be if the team makes the Super Bowl against the likes of PM.
The opposite didn't work against PM last time in the SB. I mean it did for like 52 minutes. Might as well have a different approach if we face him again.
