I really do think we are in great hands, this season. The recovery being so quick, he has time here to get these invaluable reps. I think we will even see him in preseason, although not this coming game.

I guess it shouldn't matter that he threw 2 touchdowns against as I was told a "hot trash secondary" even though they got Marcus peters and have two great pass rushers and our offensive line isn't at full strength. But hey, let's downplay it

Hating on Purdy has now been labeled as "adding context".

I feel really good about where we are right now with Purdy. He still has a ways to go but he's improving and getting himself prepared for the season. We still have a month for him to continue improving and grinding.

a bunch of people keep crying about him throwing a pick here and there, it's hilarious. Didn't our first unit lead the league in interceptions? (Tied for first). Even Aaron Rodgers is throwing picks right now. You have to take chances and attempt difficult throws, push the envelope. It would be weird if he didn't have any picks. Lol to me, that's a huge sign of playing conservative. Make aggressive throws, figure out what you can and can't do, especially against different defenses, and take that learning experience and apply it to the actual games. It's really simple.

the other aspect is that he's actually scoring touchdowns too in the move the ball periods. That's a positive sign. People act like he's just out there turning it over and nothing positive happening. It's all a process - Kyle seems to be very pleased with where Brock is at.

If it's a real game, Purdy won't have those interceptions. Training camp and preseason is the perfect time to get as much trial and error as possible. Remember what Fred Warner advised Trey Lance before.

IDK, didn't he have a lot of dropped INTs last year? I think he got pretty lucky during that stretch and that kind of stuff always regresses to the mean, so hopefully he gets that worked out or is just the luckiest guy ever!

That's better then the mental image that could come from a grown man moaning on a forum filled with other men

He was tied for 7th lowest in the league last season in TWP% at 2.5%.

I mean that "season" should have an asterisk because he didn't play the whole season. Regardless though his stretch of games was unreal

Sorry guys. My keyboard got stuck on m and kept printing it. It wouldn't even let me erase. I had to remove it and connect my other keyboard. It was a brand new keyboard too. I thought some fast food company had hacked my computer and taken control.

Yeah, he had at least 4-5 passes dropped that could of easily been INT.

i think we will see his TD-INT ratio go up this year, he doesn't hesitate to let it go on any down. Since he's inexperienced within the league and shanahans system, I anticipate we will see a rise in his INT while he works through that kink.

then again, he didn't throw a pick in the playoffs, so who knows. I think he only has one pass like that where it was a dropped INT.

as long as he improves in the other aspects, leading to consistent scoring and efficiency - it should put weight any int but he's still a young inexperienced player. I just don't want to see him keep making the bonehead throws that Jimmy seemed to do over and over again.
