Raider fans going to be thinking they are going to the Superbowl.
I think raiders will be formidable. If they weren't In a ridiculously difficult division, they be an easy playoff choice.

Jimmy gets you to the playoffs if he's healthy. I expect the raiders to have a bit of a rebound season this year. Now, he can't win it all, which is the point. But if your franchise is listless out to sea, he can steady the ship.

Playoffs?? that team??

don't make me spit my coffee

I don't see the Raiders making the playoffs at all. Jimmy is the worst QB in the AFC west and before the pitchforks come out, yes I know Russ was trash last season

No way the Raiders make the playoffs in a stacked AFC
Hope for Trey that he has a TREMENDOUS GAME tomorrow.
39 Reps for Purdy and 9 combined for Trey/Darnold.

I HATE how Shanahan handles this, even more after we see how INT-Friendly Purdy is. 3 ints and several dropped ones. Good Lord.

yessir lol
I understand they got JG, who is good, but Carr was also good
so where is the upgrade? They won 6 games last year, and are coached by Josh McD
They will be dueling with Denver for 3rd place, in the West

Purdy got the majority of the reps today because he won't be playing on Sunday.

Weren't you in the Jimmy "just wins" camp?
Without being there, it's hard to fully judge everything. Over the course of camp, for myself the best I feel I can do is look for running themes.

You probably don't want Brock having multi-pick practices every single day or even every other day. As much as we love the guy, I don't want to see that anymore from him than I would any other QB on the roster. No worries if it's an isolated thing, but I lean towards not wanting this to be a habit. You want to see a guy adjust and make corrections before you get into games. It's a big deal if you don't fix problems and they carry over to the field on gameday.

TBD if that'll be the case. But I lean towards it not being this bad. A month still to work out the kinks.

They actually lost a handful of close games last season by finding creative ways to lose. If they can make those close games wins, they might be good enough to just miss the playoffs.
cannot effing wait for this preseason game
is a sentence, i never thought i would be saying.. but it's long past time for some football
Yeah I don't see the Raiders making the playoffs. Let's just assume they are better than the Broncos. They aren't better than the Chiefs and Chargers. Then in the AFC East you have the Bills,Jets, and Dolphins. The North you have the Bengals,Ravens, and Browns. And in the South you have the Jags. That's 9 teams and even if a couple of those teams underachieve that still leaves the Raiders out of the playoffs.

If one is brutaly honest, more easy INTS were dropped during his stint last season.
INTs cover his way through training camp and now peak against the raiders.
