The team has said Brock is doing really well as a whole, I trust that. They've said Lance is much improved, I trust that (it shows). I think darnold is doing better than we realize too.

Lance didn't get many reps today cause he will get a ton in the game. Same for darnold. Their competition is coming down to the end (I expect Lance to win).

but ultimately we really don't know how well they've been doing, "throw off the day" doesn't mean Jack. A few int doesn't mean Jack. Etc etc

wait until we see them during the regular season. The team is grinding right now and figuring itself out, I think we will be fine during the season - Brock will be just fine.

Me neither. I've always said to stop making each tc camp throw a big deal, for ALL qbs.

IMO, not a single person in here thinks NYniners85 have been objective about these guys.

That would be another false interpretation NY's posts. He is way more objective than most that just spout falsehoods. He may have a favorite in the race, as we all do, but I don't ever seeing a post where he says Purdy sucks, while there are many Trey 'sucks' posts posted by many who disagree with him.
And he certainly doesn't need me posting a reply to this, but I'm just tired of all the misleading posts.

NYniners thing is he tries soooooo hard to convince everyone that he is neutral. But his posts are some of the most transparent I've ever seen on this forum. He absolutely wants Purdy to fail just so QB2 sees the field. Just as long as it's not Darnold.

BUT if this thing goes south at least it will be satisfying to see all those posters trying to claim that they have known from the beginning.

I appreciate Cohn's ability to re-evaluate his thinking based on new information. He may have thought Purdy was the "truth" in January, but has wisely been open to changing his mind based on what he's seen in camp.

The quarterback situation really is a win-win assuming we don't trade Trey which would be a mistake. People can argue about it all they want or be biased but the fact of the matter is if Brock kicks ass this year we most likely will be going to the NFC championship game or the Super Bowl. He probably will not have that touchdown to interception ratio ever again in his career (over 3:1 which usually only the top 5 or so qbs have) however he will definitely improve from when he was a rookie.

Now if he falters in any way or get injured Trey Lance is our guy and he will improve as well. Not to mention all the first downs and plays he can make with his legs that will help the team tremendously like I have always said. Trey definitely needs to complete the easy throws which you would think he would be doing by now but still isn't consistent with it. If he just masters that we will be ready for any teams defense.

Either way I think we win the Super Bowl this year because Kansas City's defense is not good at all and we will still have a top three defense with a better pass rush given that we signed the grave digger.

Can't wait for this party to get started boys
