Interesting. Considering that yesterday was an off day for all of them, I would have thought Brock would practice. Maybe they'd rather have him be there for the padded practices.

Yeah. I think they'd rather him have two straight days of padded practice and two straight days off (yesterday & today)

That's probably it. Figured they'd give him 2 days worth of rest then give him 2 straight practices in pads then repeat.

My question is why give CMC 2 days rest but perhaps they're just keeping him fresh too.

Whatver they're doing I hope it finally gives us a healthy team all year long.

me all off-season: I think we need to see Trey play with the same guys as Brock and make sure we have the best info possible on both guys. Need him out there with George and CMC.

Kyle Shanahan when Purdy isn't practicing: why don't you sit this one out Christian.

Kyle trolling me and anyone else who wanted to see Trey with CMC.

Yeah, I get what you're saying but I just view it this way - as long as Trey is making the right read and throw, shouldn't matter who it is. If the reciever/RB mess it up, the coaches will know that from the film. It's why completions etc don't really mean anything in camp. I think the coaches just want to see him make the right read and a good throw.

Darnold has impressed me so far. I don't think I've even heard of him turning over the ball yet.

And he is right. You have to be a RB+Receiver and to be great at both. RB's that can run are a dime a dozen imo. CMC gets paid because you can't replace him. You can't easily find a player that does what he does.
