Grant doesn't know what the f**k he's even looking at. Stevie Wonder doing a breakdown would be more reliable.

PROBLEM SOLVED !!

I say we trade Lance and Deevah to Atlanta right now in exchange for their 2023 first rounder.

I'm expecting the 2024 Draft to look this way and we've gots to make this move !!!

1) WASHINGTON - CALEB WILLIAMS; QB - USC
2) SEATTLE - DRAKE MAY; QB - UNC
3) SF 49ERS (ATL) - MARVIN HARRISON; WR - OHIO ST
4) INDY - OLU FASHANU; OT - PENN ST
5) TAMPA BAY - JC LATHAM; OT - ALABAMA
6) CARDINALS (HOU) - DALLAS TURNER; DE - ALABAMA
7) CARDINALS - KOOL AID MCKINSTRY; CB - ALABAMA
8) CHICAGO (CAR) - EMEKA EBGUKA; WR - OHIOT STATE
9) New England - BROCK BOWERS; TE - GEORGIA COOPER DEJEAN; CB - IOWA
10) HOUSTON (CLEV) - JOE ALT; OT - NOTRE DAME

This has to be a joke, let's trade 1 of our best playmakers for a team that's all in to win a SB for a damn draft pick

DEEVAH can only make plays when his #s called.. apparently, The Best Young Mind in the NFL shy away from him when needed most...

CMC can do everything Deevah can ... but The Martian is a generational player..

Plush, Deevah a punk, and greedy.. .. we wont even have to sign YUCK once The Martian is here and we can sign J-1 to a longer and cheaper deal as well..

Did deebo kick your dog or something? Lol

No, but he about to eat yours .. lol..

U wouldn't give up Lance and Deevah to get a shot at drafting The Martian ??

Shoot, I'm curious if Sam can even lock down #3 if they like Allen as much as they seem to indicate. Worth considering the fact that their contracts really aren't too significantly different.

But that said, Sam has regularly had pretty good preseasons before taking huge dumps when the games actually count. So even if he did that again, it'd be hard to put much stock into it since he's proven it hasn't been any indication of what he'd perform like in real games. I can't really be convinced until he proves to have overcome his specific, well-documented struggles.

Every QB on our team has room to improve and hopefully any success our guys have in the preseason translates to the regular season.

I think their contracts are significantly different. 17.5x the amount of guaranteed money, and then there's the incentives. Sam's contract was a great indicator that he could rise to QB2 here, well before confirmation from camp competition.

Absolutely not, lol.

I've said all along that I expect Lance to win QB2, but I think there is a very real chance darnold can beat him out. It's way too early to really tell at this point but darnold is highly thought of by Kyle and he's off a strong start in camp.

the fact that Trey has always been a little dr jekyl and mr Hyde (over his career and so far in camp) and Sam's shown consistency, could be a big factor too. I've said it before, it's much easier to gameplan for darnold than Lance right now because you know what you're going to get from darnold and what situations to put him in and keep him out of. With Lance we currently have no idea what he does well with and doesn't. It's very experimental.

doesn't mean I think darnold is a great option, I'm just looking at it from kyles perspective.

You mean analysis like this? Which in reality is rooted in the fact KS dressed him down the first press conference they had..,

THE NOT SO GOOD1. HC Kyle Shanahan.

Never directly coaches anyone. Just calls plays. Talks to Deebo Samuel a lot, but not to coach him. They seem like friends. They have long conversations when other players are warming up, and they sometimes talk between plays. Shanahan never seems to talk to his quarterbacks though. After every play, good or bad, he immediately looks down at his playsheet and decides what to call next (unless Deebo says something to him). Shanahan gives no feedback, no eye contact. Just moves onto the next play. As if the individual players don't matter. When Jim Harbaugh was the coach, he personally worked with Alex Smith and Colin Kaepernick. But that's because Harbaugh was a quarterback and a coach. Shanahan by nature is a wide receiver and a play caller. Big difference

Or they review the practice film and go over it in the classroom and discuss it all. Then they work with their coaches independently in these things.

thays like saying the CEO doesn't come downstairs and work hands on with the employees. That's the managers job. CEO provides direction and big picture.

LMAO imagine the head coach spending time with each and every player. GTFO. Ridiculous.

it makes sense for a coach to work hands on with the starting QB from time to time because there is only one and you have to be calibrated with them to run your system.

players have talked about it a lot that kyles in their meetings going over plays often… since he's the OC, ya know.

you can just tell Cohn never played football. Lol

i always thought Darnold kind of got a raw deal in the NFL not saying he wouldve been a superstar or anything or worth the draft position but playing under who i think one of the worst coaches in adam gase really hurt him

Oh he was royally shafted. Lol the only real thing I hold him accountable for are the amount of turnovers. You have to protect the ball better than that, regardless of the situation you're in.

He's still doing it but not as often. His rookie season he was doing it all the time. His 2nd year he was doing it alot also but was much better. Now his 3rd year he's still doing it but is better than year 1 and year 2. He hasn't regressed.

i think the issue is he hasn't progressed though

everyone knows he has all the talent in the world especially arm talent. The issue coming out was can he work on his timing based throws. He has to get better at that if hes going to start

Well this isn't a new thing for Trey, he did it quite a few times in games. It was reported last camp that he did it quite a bit. I know he can make the throw but I'm curious what error he is making where it keeps recurring. He's obviously capable of making the throw no problem.

So in other words, he just needs to relax and trust himself? He's obviously very capable of doing it. Guess he just needs to calm himself on it.

i also wonder if it has something to do with his work on taking heat off the ball and kinda "flicking" it instead of gunning it on his shorter throws. Seems like he just needs more reps to make it habit and he's thinking too much about it at times right now.

Exactly! He will get it as he trusts himself more

Deebo averages more than 100 all purpose yards per playoff game. In 9 playoff games he has over 900 all purpose yards.

Did you complete forget about his Jan 2022 playoffs? Vs Dallas he asked Kyle for the ball and then scored a 20+ yard TD on the very next play (in a game we only won by 1 score). Vs Green Bay he powered his way through tough yardage in order to get first downs to set up Robbie Gould's game winning field goal.
