Positive play
Brock Purdy uncorks deep ball down left sideline intended for Aiyuk but there was a DPI by Deommodore Lenoir as Aiyuk fought back towards the football

I don't know which DB it was but I know it shouldn't be a penalty
Lenoir* not Ward. My apologies.

That's why it's important not to jump to conclusions on Day 1 of pads when it isn't even August yet.

Brock Purdy looks terrible. But it's probably just rust.

Tydyeydy, we are enjoying TC here, no need to call ppl out over nonsense. Did you read, the rust part? They don't have the same injury history, one guy got back in April or so the other like last week. Same standards, for dif injuries, with dif timelines, doesn't make a lot of sense to me.
There's reasonable concerns with Trey, but the stuff certain posters bring is obvious agenda not reality. I'll point that out of I please thanks. Things like bringing up one missed easy throw in practice and making a deal out if it.

Potential sack by Drake Jackson forces Brock Purdy up in the pocket and checks down to Christian McCaffrey

Sure am glad Brock is able to go through TC & PS. I remember arguing with a handful of posters a few months back about Brock starting week 1 with no off season just because they couldn't stand the possibility of Trey starting.

What? This idea that Trey get's unfair criticism is all in your head, because you're emotionally biased towards him.

Don't see Mooney Ward today. Could still be nursing his adductor/groin

Exactly... Real battles aren't going to start for a other week or so. Right now is about giving everyone opportunity and installing things.

So you think because Allen got a few reps day 2 that it means we want to trade Trey?

I've personally made no issue of any TC play/result to this point, but there is a pretty clear difference between Trey and Purdy in terms of scrutiny: Only one of them is currently involved in a competition for his role on the team. That could theoretically change, but Trey's camp performance is pretty obviously more important than Brock's especially early. Brock can struggle and work out kinks and provided he's healthy and doesn't bottom out, he's the starter. Trey struggles and he's buried on the depth chart and possibly off the team.
