Good morning, Gents! Im hoping for another positive day! Lance had an awesome practice yesterday, hoping he keeps stacking them. Darnold has been very consistent! Brock's had his ups and downs but I think he's progressively improved. Let's keep it going

Good mornin' tankle!

Yeppers! I was very glad to read and hear about Lance's excellent practice. Pads went on, and he turned it on!
I can't wait to see all of our QBs (and the whole team) in preseason. They are coming along pretty well, I think.

If we can have yesterday's practice on repeat that would be huge for the team.

It sounded like despite the QBs looking pretty good the defense also played great(bunch of reports saying some of the positive plays would've been sacks in live games) and there was a good battle between the receivers and defenders.

That's what sucks about TC...typically if the offense does well you're questioning the defense or vice versa. Sounded like yesterday it was a good showing for both in their own ways.
Like Lynch said, we need to stack days

i feel what people don't realize during TC/practice is its by design not meant to always be perfect its where players and teams can practice new schemes and techniques and that's how players get better and add to their tool kit instead of them practicing something they can already do and are good at

Exactly. It could be Kyle drawing up a new play to see if it works against a certain defensive look, and the eventual conclusion could be that it doesn't work.
Beat writer watching the play: The QB threw it into tight coverage and the pass fell incomplete. Terrible throw.

Yeah, it's not too common when you see both have a good day, at least where there is something to praise on both sides.

there is also an added element of the team knows each other very well. That's why I'm excited to see these guys against the raiders - it'll be a fresh defense for our guys to get reps on that they aren't familiar with. Same for the defense

Yup, it's hard to really gauge if it was a good play or not. Sometimes it's just "did they make the right throw and read?" Or "how quickly do they dissect what was going on and adjust".

that's why I typically find it a little concerning if a QB is continually dumping the ball off, because I'd guarantee that isn't what Kyle is drawing up 90%+ of the time in camp. It tells me the offense didn't execute the play design and resorted to the easy throw.

which isn't always bad, especially in the regular season, but shouldn't happen too much in camp, IMO.
