What 49ers rookie are you most excited to watch play this season?

Who and why? Any rookie that you think will end up winning an award?
gotta make the 53 first

"Tig" Brown. My hope is he wins the spot over Gipson, and Gipson serves as vet backup. I think that's possible.

This and because I think a Hufanga and Tig backfield would be exciting to watch
Moody simply because he will have the most impact on wins and losses in my opinion.

Definitely would be exciting both are play makers but idk if he can take Gipson job he holds things down doesn't have to make those splash plays kinda like Jimmie Ward
I think like last year the rookie's are more depth players and don't make that much of an impact outside of Moody(who I hope is kicking mostly extra points....LOTS of them)

I'd say Brown but I think 49ers will go with the vet not to shake things up yet so I'm excited to see the TEs and what they can show. Hopefully both make the roster. I can't see them cutting Latu given his selection but I actually think Willis is more likely to show up more early on.

Also excited to see Luter but prefer he stays depth only this season.

I would love to see that but since Shanahan loves and trusts vets so much I don't see Brown starting unless there's an injury to Huf or Gipson.

Best we can hope for imo is rotating Brown in like we did with Huf his rookie year.

im really exited about the constant 50+ yard kicks Moody is going to attempt at the end of the second halves of games.
I'm going Dee Winters. He was an early draft crush for me. I see him replacing Shaair and getting spot starts for Greenlaw when he inevitably misses time.
No awards for any of them. I wanna see Luter. If he can stick to guys at the pro level the way he did in college. We need young stud developing at CB.

I don't think he'll beat out Burks
I would say Moody is a critical rookie. Gould was one of the best in the business so we'll see if Moody can match that success.

AGREE... because " Tarnished " Gould did a great job for us, " Booty " Moody better not be the next coming of Dougie " Fresh " Brien !!

Plus, Booty Moody already on the team so he'll have more action than any other rookie we have..

There's definitely a comfort level with Gipson and his experience in the league. I'm sure he's been in many schemes and is an asset for Wilks as Wilks implements his new wrinkles onto the defense. Gipson would serve as an on the field coach. My worry is at 33, did Gipson slow down over the offseason? At some point, a DB is too slow. If Brown can show good instincts and quickly grasp the scheme, I could see him winning the starting spot next to Huf. Perhaps not in week1, but midseason, if Gipson displays a significant athletic slowdown.
Moody by far.

Based on where he was drafted and who he's replacing; he'll be under massive scrutiny.

If he wins games for us he'll still get criticized because of the 3rd round selection.

Not by me.

Winning is all that counts.
